Jon's POV
'Richie, where is this family gathering?' I say
'It's at my mom's house' Richie says
'But it's a family gathering and we got invited?' Dave says
'I don't know it was my mom who invited you all' Richie says
'We need to go! it's already 6:30 and we need to be there for 7' Richie says
'Stop panicking we'll be fine' I say getting up
'We need to go!' Richie says grabbing his car keys and zooming out the door
Timeskip
Richie parks his car in his moms driveway and takes his keys out
'There's going to be a lot of people there so just brace yourselves' Richie says and we all get out and walk to his mom's door
Richie opens the door and we all walk in and almost instantly a girl who looks a lot like Richie but with long blonde hair and blue eyes throws her arms around Richie in excitement
'Finally! I was wondering when my favourite cousin was going to appear' She says happily
'I'm your only cousin Kiara' He says chuckling
'My point' She says
'Who are these handsome men?' She says pulling away from the hug
'I'm joking I know who you all are' She says smiling
She's so beautiful. The way she's done her hair so it sits perfectly on her head.
'Come on! Everyone's dying to meet you all' She says grabbing my hand and pulling me into the living room with the boys following us
'Hey! What about me?' Richie says
'You too Rich' Kiara says making all of us laugh
'Everyone! Richie and the boys have arrived' She says bursting into the sitting room and making everyone cheer
Everyone gets up from their seats to introduce themselves. It is crazy how many family members Richie has.
'Do you want a drink?' Kiara says to all of us
'Yeah sure' I say
'Follow me' She says and we follow her into the kitchen where all of the drinks are
'Uncle Adam went a bit crazy with the alcohol so just help yourself' She says giggling
'That's where Richie gets it from then' Tico says
'No we get it from our Grandpa' Richie says taking a beer out of the fridge
'Our Grandpa is worse than Uncle Adam. He hosted a family gathering once and it was like he bought the whole store' Kiara says
It's weird how much Kiara and Richie look alike even though they're cousins.
'So how old are you?' Dave says
'I'm 23' Kiara says
'What do you do for work?' I say
'I'm a dance teacher' Kiara says
'You're still a dance teacher?' Richie says in shock
'Yeah' Kiara says
'What do you teach?' Alec says
'Everything really it's what I did when I was younger' Kiara says
'So did you dance?' I say
'Yeah, I did' Kiara says
'She could bend her body in half' Richie says
'It's called a back bend Rich' Kiara says giggling
'It freaked me out every time she'd do it' Richie says shivering
'My students are really big fans of you. They don't believe Richie's my cousin even though I've shown them photos' Kiara says
Timeskip
Kiara and I are out in the back yard just talking whilst everyone else is inside.
'So, how's the rockstar life treating you then?' Kiara says looking at me
'I love it, don't get me wrong it can be annoying with the press and all that but I love it' I say smiling
'My favourite song is Wanted Dead Or Alive' Kiara says
'It's just something about the song that makes me so happy. I don't know what it is' Kiara says looking up to the sky whilst smiling
'How do you and Richie look so alike if you're not siblings?' I say
'I don't know' Kiara says giggling
'It's weird' I say chuckling
'You know what?' Kiara says
'What?' I say looking at her
'You're very attractive' She says making me chuckle
'You're drunk' I say chuckling whilst looking to the ground
'It's the truth! You all are' Kiara says
I look up to see her already looking at me. She has the most beautiful blue eyes ever and I can't get enough of them.
'Hey, guys! Are you coming back in?' Richie shouts from behind us
'Uh yeah give us a minute' Kiara says
Once we hear the door shut close Kiara slams her lips on mine. I put my hands on each side of her face as I pull her closer.
She moves to my lap so she's straddling me. She wraps her arms around my neck as our kiss turns heated.
I pull away and place my forehead against hers whilst I try to get my breath back.
'Should we go back in now?' Kiara says smiling
'Yeah' I say chuckling
Kiara gets off of me and gets her drink from the ground. She waits until I'm ready and we head inside together.
