Richie Sambora - Here For You

Emma's POV

I walk into my apartment feeling nothing but pain and numb. My best friend and band mate Kirsty committed suicide because of her boyfriend.

I fall back onto my couch and stare at the wall not being able to believe reality.

I got the call at 3 in the morning and drove straight to the hospital full of hope that she'd survive but she died just as I arrived.

Kirsty and I grew up together, we learnt guitar and drums together, and we even had the same birthday.

I hear my front door slam open to reveal my boyfriend and his bandmates.

I look away and look back towards the wall. I look over to the photo of Kirsty and I when we graduated from High School. My eyes well up in tears.

Richie and Dave sit beside on the couch and Jon, Tico and Alex sit on the other couch

'Are you okay?' Richie says

I nod my head lying not being able to talk

'Is Kirsty ok?' Jon says softly

I look down at my hands as tears run down my face

'She's gone' I say quietly causing the boys to gasp from shock

'Do you know why she did what she did?' Dave says

'Because of Robby' I say

'She left a note and the nurses gave me it' I say pulling it off my pocket

'Do you mind if we read it?' Richie says placing his hand on my thigh

Dear Emma,

Please don't think that this is your fault. I just can't escape the thoughts anymore. Everytime I close my eyes I feel and hear Robby and I can't deal with it.

You and the girls were the best thing that ever happened to me. Please keep the band together. I know how much it means to you and the girls. Don't think for one second that I won't be there with you.

You three are going to go places I can feel it, I just wish I could be there to experience it with you but I can't deal with it anymore.

I'm happy you found Richie because he'd be able to take my place and keep you happy and safe. When you first told me you were dating Richie Sambora from Bon Jovi I couldn't believe it. I thought you were lying.

P.S tell Tico that I think he's hot

I finish reading the note with tears streaming down my face and Richie hugging me

'I thought she was hot too' Tico says making all of us laugh

'She'd always talk to me about you' I say smiling

'She was something else' Richie says

'The girls have notes too but they have to go to the hospital to get them because the nurses wouldn't give me them' I say folding her note and placing it on the coffee table

'Then they'll come over here' I say

'What's going to happen with the tour?' Dave says

'It's getting cancelled none of us will be able to go on stage this soon' I say

'The press is going to go ape' I say putting my head back

'It's none of their business' Richie says

'But they think it is' I say

'Do you want us to stay with you or do you want us to leave and give you some space?' Alec says

'Stay please' I say leaning into Richie

We spend the rest of the day reminiscing on all the memories we had with Kirsty. Like the one when I introduced the boys to the girls and Kirsty couldn't help but fan girl over them. Aswell as the time she got us kicked out of clubs and she shut down a sexist 50 year old guy because he said that women don't belong in the music industry.
