Your parents love Jon. The first time Jon met them, he was nervous because you were his first serious girlfriend and he liked you. You're from Columbia so you and Jon had to travel from your home in New Jersey to Colombia.

'Jon, you'll be fine just calm down ok?' I say softly

'I want them to like me' Jon says

'Babe, they will' I say giggling

'How do you know that?' Jon says

'Love, I know my parents. They are going to love you' I say

'You promise?' Jon says wrapping his arms around my waist just before I knock on the door

'Baby, I promise they will love you' I say smiling

'I love you' Jon says

'I love you more rockstar' I say and give him a peck on the lips before I pull away

'Are you ready?' I say

'Yeah' Jon says nervously

I knock on the door and almost instantly my Dad swings open the door and hugs me like it'll be the last he'll see me

'Mija! Finalmente estás en casa! (You're finally Home!)' My dad says

'Hola Papa' I say giggling

'Dónde está mamá? (Where's Mom)' I say

'Ella está en la cocina preparando la cena (She's in the kitchen making dinner)' My dad says

'Papá, este es Jon, mi novio (Papa, this is Jon, my boyfriend)' I say introducing them to each other

'Encantado de conocer a Jon (Nice to meet you Jon' My dad says

'Papá, el no habla español pero está tratando de aprender (Papa, he doesn't speak Spanish but he is trying to learn)' I say giggling

'Nice to meet you Mr Rodriquez' Jon says putting his hand out to shake

'Nice to meet you too Jon' My dad says in English. His Spanish accent is extremely visible

'Shall we head inside so we can go see your mama?' Dad says

'Ok' I say smiling and we all walk in

My dad walks straight into the kitchen not waiting for Jon and me to catch up

'That was intimidating' Jon says making me giggle

Your parents didn't like Richie at first because they knew Richie had played some girls in the past so of course they didn't like that their youngest daughter was dating a player but Richie soon managed to change your parents minds and their impression of him.

'So, how's the relationship going with Mr rockstar?' My sister Amelia says as I sit down on the couch

'It's going amazing! I'm falling more and more in love with him by the day' I say smiling

'Awww' Amelia says

'Where is Richie?' Amelia says

'He's speaking to Mom and Dad' I say

'Why?' Amelia says

'I've got no idea' I say
