Enids pov

I woke up due to the sun shining directly on my face. I opened my eyes and spotted Wednesday by my side, oh right, she fell asleep up here yesterday.

"God morning" I whispered, in case she wasn't awake yet.

"Morning" I heard a soft mumble.

"Are you awake?" I asked sarcastically

"No"

I looked over at the clock, 11:34.

"We can't sleep all day, it's already 11:34" I said and her head suddenly flung up.

"Already?" She asked me confused and I nodded, getting of the bed.

"Do you have anything special you wanna do today?" I asked and she shook her head. "Do you wanna go for a run, down town and then maybe go get lunch?"

"Okay, but I don't know it i brought any workout clothes" she replied, rubbing her eyes.

"You can borrow mine, I'm sure I have something within your color palette" I said, looking through my clothes, finally finding my black training pants.

"I have these, but I'm not sure I have any black tops" I say, handing wens the pants.

"It's fine, I can use one of mine" she says adding a small "thank you" at the end.

After about 10 minutes both of us had gotten changed and I was just waiting on wens to get out of the bathroom, she told me she would redo her hair real quick before we left, that was 5 minutes ago.

"Wens, is everything okay in there?" I asked, knocking on the door.

"Yes, I will be out in a sec" she yelled through the door.

2 minutes later she walked out of the bathroom in a ponytail. God she looked beautiful.

"You look amazing" I say, blushing like crazy, wait why am I blushing?

"Thank you... should we get going?" She asks and I nod.

Wednesday and I stepped out into the midday air. I stretched my arms above my head, feeling the anticipation of our run together. There is just something about running that makes me feel so at peace.

"Ready?" I ask, looking over at the smaller girl

Wednesday gave a nod "ready"

We set off at a steady pace, me leading the way through the busy streets of LA. The sound of our footsteps echoed softly in my mind, creating a soothing rhythm in my head as we ran.

"So, how has summer been so far?" I ask, breaking the silence between us.

"It's a welcomed break from school" Wednesday reply's in her usual composed tone, how can this girl not be sweating?

"Yeah, last semester was crazy" I reply

We continued our run in silence, maybe some small talk here and there but no big conversations. I stole occasional glances at Wednesday, admiring everything about her. I often think about what goes through her mind, how much fits inside that little head of her.

"You know, I'm really glad you're spending the summer here with me" I say after a while "it's nice having you around"

"The feeling is mutual" she reply's "your home offers a different atmosphere compared to mine"
