Coffee

The next morning passed by slowly. Me and Enid were heading down to breakfast while talking about our plans for the day.

"I think I'm gonna go over to Yoko's do a little girls spa day, wanna join?" She asked and i shook my head.

"I already have plans, and lurch is coming with my stuff today" I replied and her eyes widened.

"What plans? You're not planing on killing anyone, are you?" She ask.

"No, I'm going out for coffee with Oliwer, but I can't promise the outcome from that" I reply

"Omg you two are going on a date?" She asks me, excitedly, a big smile growing on her face.

"It's not a date Enid, he just wanted to know where to find good coffee, so I told him that I could show him" I replied as we walked into the cafeteria.

"Sounds like a date to me" she said, teasing me.

I rolled my eyes, and we started talking our food. I looked around at the options but nothing seemed good, so I decided to just take a fruit salad and a glass of water.

"Aren't you going to eat anything else?" Enid asks me, looking down are my tray.

"Nothing looks good" I replied.

"You should at least try a yogurt" she says, handing me a strawberry one. I know what she's thinking, but it's not that this time.

"It's not about that, I promise" I reply

"Okay, but you should still try to eat it, it's super good" she says with a smile.

I give in and take the yogurt and put it on my tray. We looked into the cafeteria and saw Yoko, divina, Xavier, Kent and Ajax sitting at a table so we made our way over to them.

"Hey guys" Enid said happily, sitting down beside Divina and I took a seat besides Yoko, in front of
Xavier.

"Hey Wednesday" Xavier spoke, I just looked at him.

The conversation around the table shifted to plans for the day, with Yoko and divina discussing their upcoming practices, Ajax was more interested in the upcoming festival happening in town, while Enid eagerly share her plans for a spa day with Yoko later.

As they chatted, my mind kept drifting back to the coffee outing planned with Oliwer later. Despite the fact that I insisted to Enid that this wasn't a date, I couldn't help but to feel a bit nervous, I'm not sure why tho.

"Hey Wednesday, you seem distracted" Yoko pointed out, breaking through my thoughts.

I blinked, realizing that they were all just looking at me. "Just thinking about some stuff" I reply

Xavier leaned forward, his expression turning slightly more serious "stuff huh, what kind of stuff?" He asked, smirking at me like a creep.

Enid smiled "Like your coffee date later?" She said, teasingly, looking at Xavier.

"Date?" He asked, angrily.

I sighed, feeling the need to defend myself "It's not a date" I said "I'm just showing him where the best coffee is"

Xavier's jaw tightened, his gaze flickering towards his untouched breakfast. "Right" he mutters.

Enid looked at me, playfully. "Come on wens, you can call it whatever you want but it's definitely a date in my book" she said and Divina agreed.
