First day back

Wednesdays pov

Walking down the dark hallway again felt weird, but in some sort of way, comforting. Yesterday I admitted to Enid that I was scared to come back, to be the reason for something terrible happening again, and I still am.

Me and Enid are now on our way to our first official breakfast back as she said, we are also meeting up with some of her other friends to "catch up".

Walking into the cafeteria, we immediately got waved over by the vampire, Yoko. She was sitting at the usual table with Bianca, Divina, Kent, Xavier and Ajax.

"Come on wens!" Enid said excitedly as we made our way over to them.

"Baby" Ajax, stood up and gave Enid a hug, oh, I had forgotten they dated.

"Hey Wednesday" Xavier greeted me, I ignored him. "Oh come on, you at least owe me a hello" he said.

I rolled my eyes "and why do I owe you anything?" I ask, giving him a death glare.

"You put me in jail" he said, smirking.

"Yeah, then I saved you?" I said and his smirk immediately disappeared.

"Damn she got you there bro" Ajax said, his arms wrapped around Enid, why did it have to be him? I could be a better boyfriend than him, please just give me a chance.

The table erupted in laughter, "alright, alright, settle down" Bianca said, trying to regain some composure. "It's good to have everyone back" she said and everyone agreed.

Then everyone started sharing their stories about their break, and I felt a sense of normalcy returning. Kent and Divina shared their experience surfing in California while Enid and Ajax exchanged quick glances and smiles, clearly still in to each other. Which caused a bang of jealousy to hit me.

"OMG, I have tots forgotten to tell y'all" Yoko says, hands in the air. "There's a new boy coming, his name is Oliwer" she says, smiling.

"We should invite him to hang out with us" Divina suggests.

"Yeah, totally, it will be good to have a real boy in this group" Bianca jokes and both Xavier and Ajax look at her, offended.

Then Xavier tried to catch my eye again. "So Wednesday, anything interesting happened to you?" He asks.

"No" I said, keeping my respond as short as possible, I wasn't in the mood to share much and especially not with him.

"Anyways, when is he going to start?" Enid asks, Ajax arm wrapped around her.

"Today, I think he's coming around twelve" Yoko says. "Do you know which dorm he's in?"

"512"

"Woah, stalker much?" Kent ask and Yoko smirks, sipping on her blood bag.

The conversation continued with everyone buzzing about the new students arrival. And as breakfast wound down, everyone started making plans for the day. With classes not starting until Tuesday, in two days, we had some time for our self's.

"Why don't we all meet up later to welcome Oliwer?" Divina suggests "and show him around"

"Great idea" Enid agreed enthusiastically "we could give him the grand tour of Nevermore"
