Act 3: Change

"I will not let you touch me!" I said frantically, wiping my tears that have now dried on my face. "Please..." I said quietly, hoping that she could hear me. "Bring me home..." After a long time of silence, she finally said "I'll make a deal with you. You help me with something, and I'll bring you home in return. Ok?"

Still having wet tears, I accepted her deal. "Do you promise to bring me back to Inazuma?" After some thought, she replied "I don't know what that place is but I promise I'll get you back to your lover. I always keep my word." "What!? How do you know about that..." I said with my face as red as a tomato. "T-Thats private..." I said so quietly that I prayed she could hear my voice.

*About 2 hours of walking later*

"Goodness, where am I? When will you tell me?" I asked with a scent of fear clinging to my body. "Stop being scared. I promise this world is completely-" She got cut off when a wild animal pounced on her as I watched with horror in my eyes. "What are you standing there for!? Help me!" She said as she frantically tried to get the huge beast off of her. "I'm coming, just hold very still!" I said as I was figuring out what to do. But when I tried to use my vision to summon an electric kitsune, it stopped glowing. "What...?" I said with panic in my voice. "What can I do?" I screamed.

Then, I found a nearby vine and tied the beast to a tree with it. "Ugh. You could have done that a LITTLE faster..." She said with some pain in her voice. But, she tried to cover it up the best she could. It wasn't very successful. "Wait" I said in the most reassuring voice I could muster. "I'll get something that can help ease the pain" "I don't need your help!" She shouted in my ear. Ugh, she was so annoying. "Here, eat these poppy seeds, they will help with the discomfort. and slowly but surely, she started eating them, and I could see from her face that she was debating whether to say thanks or not. "You're welcome" was the only thing I said that night before falling asleep on a nearby log.
