I sulked back to my bed after talking with Ei. I thought that seeing my old friend again would make me happier, but it only made me miss Yae Sakura more. I've been growing more attached to her every day we've been together, and I never expected to be disappointed when I left. I hated this feeling of dread deep within my heart. Just waiting for her to return to me so that we could have a happy reunion. I never got to apologize. Not even a little. I missed her and I was SURE that in the afterlife, right now, she would be so furious at me for letting her go. I was a terrible sister.
6 months later, I eventually got over the dread. Although, I never forgotten her. She was a kind and loving soul that always had my back, sort of like a guardian angel. I felt happy knowing that she would spend the rest of her eternity, happy and peaceful in heaven. I felt satisfied knowing that she was happy now, but every time that I replayed the scene in my head, it got worse than the last. One time, I even remembered that I pushed her off the cliff with my own hands, and went to the portal with no regrets!
About 3 years from the occurrence, I was just praying to the Sakura tree like every day. But then, I saw some purple eyes emitting light from the corner of my eye. "Ugh, Sara. If you are trying to scare me-" my words got cut off there. I was completely speechless when I saw an identical version of myself standing in front of me. "Y-Yae Sakura!?" I yelled as I flew into her arms, crying on her kimono like a madwoman. "Miko!" She yelled after we both rolled to the ground. "Hehe~" She said after a long hug. "I-I have another mission for you Miko" she said in a neutral tone, even if I could just scent her excitement. "Wanna go on a little adventure?" She asked with a hopeful face. I smiled at the thought of us traveling together again. "Oh yes sister! Of course!!" I said to her in an overjoyed expression. As much as I wanted to appear mature, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Nothing could. "Wait, did you just call me... Sister?" She asked with a confused look. "Huh... I guess I did~" I said. But then, "Wait... What's that!?"
