Act 4: In A Fairly Tale

"Good morning Yae" My companion said to me as I slowly blinked my eyes open, and stood up. We both agreed on eating berries. There were at least a dozen nearby, and we needed something to eat anyway. I had my fair share of knowing what's poisonous and isn't. "My, My, what do we have here?" I cunningly said when I came back to a nasty surprise, Yae Sakura, hanging from a tree branch, upside down. "Just get me down from here" she said embarrassingly "A-and don't ask about it..."

When she finally got down, she muttered a thanks and got on her way to get the berries I brought.

I secretly liked her sense of humor. She was very cunning (Like me of course) and we both loved books. "I-I wanted to be a librarian when I was little..." Yae Sakura finally confessed. "Looks like you achieved your dream" she added with a slight chuckle. "Well" I said shyly. "That doesn't matter now. I don't even know if I'm gonna see my beloved bookshop again. I especially want to see Gorou looking at me with fear in his eyes... Haha. Those were fun times" I said with a slightly sad face.

"I- I didn't mean to make you cry, I promise we will get back to your home!" She said with the most reassuring smile I have ever seen. It was perfect. I nodded my thanks and since it was already night, I decided to hit the hay.

"That was probably the most- WHAT!?" I screamed as I saw that we were not in the forest anymore. Yae Sakura was still beside me, sleeping in the same position as she was last night. "Yae Sakura! Wake up!" I shouted in her ear as I was searching for an opening in the weird mechanical lair. "Wh- What? Why are you shouting!?" She scolded. "We need to find out how to get out of here!" I just said simply.

"Well" A lady with maroon hair said behind both of us. I was about to attack her, but then, from her eyes I saw that she meant no harm. "You kitsune's ok?" She asked. "Goodness, how many times can I get KIDNAPPED in a week!?" I screamed silently in my head, but I let her talk before judging.

Now that I looked more clearly (Of course after registering the shock in my head) there were 2 people. One had maroon hair, glasses, white overalls, and a black jacket. The other had grayish-blue hair, a purple jacket, and... Ears? Bunny ears!?

I knew that they were wanted from the second I saw them. I found a poster saying that the maroon haired girl is worth... 10,000,000,000 MORA!? Or wait... Crystals?
