His eyes dreamily examined the structure of the classrooms wallpaper. Nothing interesting, really, he just didn't want to listen to his teacher. She was talking about the same things she had told them last year anyway. Leo couldn't learn anything if he already knew.
Who was that guy from the hallway?
His friendly smile and blue eyes were burned into his memory.
Questions upon questions piled up in his head. They barely left any room for the essentials. He hadn't cared about his birthday anyway and he was sure that it wasn't the only time the guys would ambush him today.
The sun was shining outside, more than on any other day, or at least that was how Leo felt. Something had been wrong since that incident...? Whatever you wanted to call what had happened.
He filled his little notebook on the table with sketches of various anime characters that he liked more or less. He actually scribbled his thoughts in there or wrote something like poetry slams. Leondre himself didn't know exactly why he did that. He had secretly buried the first few of these books in the depths of the wastepaper bin at night.
He was terribly afraid that someone would find them and read them. The first helpless attempts.
The bell rang, finally, it had felt like an eternity. And finally he was allowed to leave this nightmare of a place.
Now he might like a friend after all..."Leondre, I need to talk to you again." the teacher.
"What is it, Miss?" he replied with a fake smile.
"If you keep being so absent, I'll have to give you an F again." her voice was saturated with pity.
He turned away with a nod.Another year in the 11th grade. Shouldn't do him any harm. Maybe he'd finally be rid of the stupid guys? Somehow he couldn't believe it himself.
As soon as he left the class, he was struck by the eerie feeling that someone was following him. They did that regularly. Leo quickly grabbed his jacket and started to storm out of the building. He didn't want to fall into their annual routine, not today.Heavy, loud footsteps fell quickly onto the asphalt right behind him. That was them, for sure.
He just wanted to get away. But Leondre had to fall at that exact moment.
Large drops of rain fell from the sky and hit his face.
Hadn't the sun been shining just a second ago?
"Leo, what's wrong with you today?" someone laughed next to him.
Of course he was startled, which only made the stranger laugh even more."What's your name?" Leo mumbled back, visibly confused.
"This joke isn't funny anymore," the stranger grumbled.
Couldn't he just answer his question? Why was that such a hard task?
"Do you want to stay lying there or finally get up?"
He stood up shakily. It felt strange, as if his body was built differently. Stronger and not as scrawny and weak as it actually was.
"You really shouldn't trip over your own feet so often, man." laughed the stranger and patted Leo firmly on the back.
Over his own feet? He was being followed a second ago...
He strolled through the rain next to Leondre. It was dark, cold and Leo just wanted to be left alone. It didn't seem to be that important to the other guy.
Laughing, he walked on and babbled something about the Gaus algorithm, which he could follow and even joined in a little, but wasn't interested in at all. He didn't like mathematics.
When the stranger stopped his story, he automatically pricked up his ears.
"See you tomorrow, Leo."
What? Did he live here or Leo? If it was the stranger, how would Leo find his way home since everything looked entirely different?"Don't you want to go at all?" Thank God it was Leondre who lived here.
"Uh, of course." Leo replied and quickly walked to the door. "See you tomorrow.... you?"
"Stop joking."
He hesitantly pressed the doorbell. Excited to see what surprises awaited him.
"Oh God, what do you look like?" His mother came towards me, full of concern. "Bring an umbrella with you next time."
Behind her in the hallway stood a person he never thought he would ever see again. His father....
If you're also thinking about writing something similar, I think you should use your imagination to bring new plots into the Bam stories. Many have already been created, but it's always about the same thing.
How about if the two live in a different world and don't make any music at all. Or if, for a change, they don't take anyone in as exchange students or write to them on Instagram?
There are no limits. Let your imagination run wild and don't limit yourself with realism.
