At school, he had always pushed you away when you came close to him. But here, at this moment, Leo was someone else. You looked at him curiously. He was a little scared, more insecure than you had ever seen him before. But he also seemed more relaxed and much less arrogant.

Suddenly, without warning, he slid next to you. So suddenly that you were almost startled when you noticed a movement next to you.

Charlie had the conversation firmly under control. Everyone present hung on his every word, including you.

Now that Leo was sitting next to you, it threw you completely off track. But after taking a few very obvious breaths, he dared to speak.

"I noticed you at the party." He glanced over at Charlie, who didn't let himself get thrown off track. He was happy that Leondre had such a good friend.

"You too," you smiled kindly. "But that was a while ago."

He nodded. "I'm really sorry I didn't come to you sooner."

You could only laugh at that. Why was he sorry? After all, he absolutely didn't have to talk to you just because you briefly made eye contact.

"What do you do for a hobby?" he asked you quite suddenly.

For someone who was a notorious player, he was acting pretty clumsy.

"Oh, a lot. But to be honest, my favorite hobby is sleeping." You giggled, then leaned over and whispered: "But sometimes I secretly practice karaoke."

That made him laugh again.

"You probably want my number," you murmured. There was something in your voice that Leo couldn't make out. But you were already holding out the phone to him.

He felt a slight dizziness, skillfully ignored it and pulled out his phone as well. Leondre would probably do something stupid with it, so he left a long note behind it and saved it as "Ikea customer service." Just to be sure.

"Thanks," he beamed happily at you. Then he turned to Charlie, who was now talking about some cool skateboard moves. Who still skated in this century? Of course, as a child he was one of the people too. But the big player in school was really someone who skated? Why wasn't he bullied for it?

He felt dizzy again. Annoyed, he rolled his eyes.

Leo opmed the notes app. He typed angrily into his phone and saved the message on the home screen for Leondre. It was just obvious that he was knocking on the other side.

Leondre,
you can't always swap when you're screwing shit up. That's not my fault. Get yourself together, I'm not going to pay the price for your shit anymore. Never again. If I'd known that I wouldn't have to swap back, you would have stayed on the other side for a lot longer. The other side that you like so much that you make friends with people for whom you would leave your best friend.
What do you actually want?
