He thought that the second they switched, the feelings would just disappear. But that wasn't the case. Maybe it was because they were still the same person, or because you were on this site too.
Leo didn't think that when they switched again, he would be in this situation.
Apparently the guy had been fiddling with his phone, because he suddenly had a new playlist. There was also a message waiting for him on his desk.
Hello Leondre,
I can't stand what a loser you are. That's why I've decided to take care of it. Every time we switch, something will change for you. Although I'm not really interested in taking care of you, since you're not me, this back and forth isn't going to stop for now. Your little bullies have apologized to you very sincerely and it seems like you're friends now. Just accept it and don't cry, because you need them. We both know that.
He had known it. There had been something fishy from the start. That this arrogant ass was now forcing friends on him that he didn't even want. And they couldn't even say to each other's faces how they felt.
He would have loved to stand up to this guy, but he was also more than aware that if this Leo from the other side was on this side with him, he would also be one of the bullies. Absolutely.
How had he developed feelings so quickly for a girl he had only seen? He didn't know her name or anything else about you.
He was only sure of one thing: you would see each other again.
He stood up, disappointed. Anything that was too nerdy had disappeared from his room.
His Magic cards, gone. His manga collection, gone. His Funko Pops, gone.
Hopefully the ass had just hidden them and not thrown them away, that would break his heart.
He would definitely get revenge for that next time.
However, he found his notebook in bed. There was a short text written in it, maybe a hundred words, if that.
A hundred expressive words. Words that were so simple that Leo would never have used them for lyrics. And yet touching.
Something about it awakened a sleeping animal in him. One that he should have awakened himself, but never knew how.
He stood in front of the mirror in which he saw himself for the first time today and noticed that his hair was blonde. But that only increased his euphoria.
Leondre took a deep breath, briefly imagined he was Eminem on his way to battle. Then he did it. He rapped that goddamn text. What he had wanted to do forever. And it felt good. It felt right.
For the first time in ages, he felt like someone who would make it. That was it. That was his thing, after he had been searching for ages.
