"I killed a guy during the super human mission back then. He had the ability to completely copy what I am doing exactly same. Even my speed, my strength and more. Though he had one one major flaw. He was only ably to copy me to the extent his body limits allowed him. You are no different. You forced yourself to become a super human and yet, your innate ability's 5 second limit stayed the same. Why do you think that happened?" Naoya explains and poses a question. As Nero lies on the ground, beaten and battered, he listens to Naoya's explanation. The revelation about the super human with a copying ability hits close to home, and he understands the point that Naoya is trying to make. He grits his teeth in frustration, realizing the truth in Naoya's words. "You are a failed lab experiment like him." Naoya says with a cold tone.
Naoya's words cut through the air like a knife, hitting Nero deep. He had always tried to push himself beyond his limits, to become stronger, faster, better. But now, it seemed like all that effort had come to naught. Calling him a "failed lab experiment" stung deeply. The Hitman Legion (THL) members, hearing the distress signal and monitoring Nero's microphone, rush into the building to aid him. They enter the scene to find Nero laying on the ground, beaten and injured, while Naoya stands triumphantly over him. "You are more stupid than I thought, Nero. You thought I wouldn't have taken counter measures against this?" Naoya asks mockingly. As Naoya finishes speaking, the sound of cars arriving can be heard from outside the building. The THL members turn their attention towards the entrance, wondering who has arrived for backup. Naoya addresses the newcomers, his voice tinged with a mixture of irritation and smugness.
"You guys are a bit late," he remarks, his gaze locked on the new arrivals. Jun steps forward, a challenging smile gracing his features as he addresses Naoya. "You should've just given us your location normally," he says before launching himself at the THL members. As Jun and the other Outbound members engage the THL members, the sounds of more cars approaching can be heard in the distance. It seems like their allies from other Mafia groups are arriving to provide backup. It seems like their allies from other Mafia groups are arriving to provide backup. Naoya approaches Nero, who is still lying on the ground, battered and bruised. Naoya stands over him, his gaze cold and calculating. Naoya looks down at Nero, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips as he speaks. His voice is cold and resolute.
"You wanted war, Nero. Well, here it is." As the battle rages on around them, Naoya and Nero remain locked in their stare-down. The tension between them is palpable, and the outcome of this confrontation is still uncertain. Time seems to slow down for Nero and Naoya as they stand facing each other, their gazes locked in an intense standoff. The sounds of the battle around them fade into the background as they focus solely on each other. Nero begins to speak. "It was so odd to me that out of all the people, you were the strongest no matter what you faced. I wanted to be like you, to surpass you." Nero's words hang heavily in the air, his determination and resolve evident in his voice. "I aimed to become the new you," he says, his gaze unwavering. "I wanted to leave you in the past, to make you a mere memory." Nero continues with a loud gulp, "You are the super human. Not a lab experiment. A fully fledged fated human being to become the strongest." Despite his injuries, Nero continues to speak his thoughts, his voice growing stronger.
"You're the true superhuman, not a mere lab experiment," he says, his eyes intense. "You're destined to be the strongest, a being unbound by limitations." Nero speaks for the last time, "Even death couldn't take you. Who am I to kill you?" concluding his speech. The intensity between them dissipates as the moment passes and time returns to its normal pace. Nero lowers his head to the ground, indicating his defeat. With Nero defeated, Naoya turns and runs past him to join his allies in the ongoing battle. The tension in the air remains high as the situation continues to unfold, with various factions locked in a fierce struggle for dominance. With his exceptional strength and speed, Naoya moves with lightning quickness through the ranks of THL members. The difference in their power levels becomes apparent as he easily dispatches them one by one, his movements precise and ruthless. Takemoto, Aki and Jun joins Naoya's side immediately. "Been a while, Naoya." Jun says with a smile as he keeps fighting side by side. Naoya glances over at Jun with a small smile, recognizing his familiar presence. The three of them fight side by side, working together seamlessly to take on the remaining THL members. As the battle continues, additional reinforcements arrive in the form of Katsura, Kento, Tatsuya, Daisuke, and Akira, who join Naoya's side. The combined force becomes even more formidable, turning the tide of the battle further in their favor.
As Naoya looks around, he spots Hayakawa, who is present on the battlefield rather than watching from afar. Surprise flickers across Naoya's face at seeing the man in person. Hayakawa was also struggling for a few seconds just for Ms. Fujiwara to shoot and kill the two men that was giving Hayakawa trouble. Naoya gets surprised that Ms. Fujiwara is here fighting rather than watching from afar. Naoya's surprise is further heightened as he witnesses Ms. Fujiwara take down two men who were giving Hayakawa trouble. He hadn't expected her to be participating in the actual fighting, thinking she would be observing from a distance. Leaving the others to continue the battle, Naoya and Jun rush over to where Hayakawa and Fujiwara are. With everyone else engaged with the remaining THL members, they create a temporary buffer for conversation. "What's the status? How many people do we have and how many people does THL have?" Naoya asks to Hayakawa while standing in front of them to create some protection. Hayakawa quickly gathers his thoughts, providing a status update on their situation. "Currently, we have a total of 134 people engaged in battle," he informs Naoya. "THL, on the other hand, seems to have over 300 men members fighting on their side. I personally can't even see the end of this huge crowd of people."
"I would rather us to flee from here rather than fighting them off one by one. If they were to request back up, we are all dead. None of us can fight the assassin's from all over Japan." Naoya responds. Hayakawa nods in agreement with Naoya's point."You're right. We're outnumbered, and we can't afford to stay here and fight them all off one by one." Naoya turns his head to Ms. Fujiwara next with a visible ear to ear smirk on his face.
"Hey there cutie, long time no see." Fujiwara rolls her eyes playfully, a small smile on her face at Naoya's greeting."Oh, shut up," she retorts, a hint of fondness in her voice. "It hasn't been that long, you flatterer."
