Growing friendship

Ragatha and I stopped walking in front of a door with a picture of a white and blue cat on it. "Well here we are." She said. This was my room? The picture looked nothing like me. I was a normal person the last time I checked. "Thanks for showing me here ragatha. I just need a moment to myself" I said
"I completely understand comet."ragatha said "we'll be waiting out here if you need us."
I gave her a weak smile before padding into my room. Everything inside was very galactic. The walls and the floor were pink,blue and purple. While the ceiling was white with tiny origami stars and toy planets hanging off of it. I had a cat bed with a purple blanket. I also had a toy box and a cat tower in a corner.i had some stargazing equipment and drawing supplies all stored away on different shelves.i also had a mirror.I walked over to the mirror and stared at my reflection. Now, I can't remember how I looked before I put on the headset. But I knew it definitely wasn't this. I was a white cat with blue eyes and ears. One of my paws was blue while the others were white. I had a thin,white tail that had pink and blue fur on the top,surrounding the tip like a feather and I had a comet mark on my back leg.
I didn't mind the new body. Yes it was strange, but I looked really cute,and besides I could get used to it. I padded away from the mirror and laid on my bed,staring at the origami stars and toy planets. Now that I was alone in my room,I could feel my anxiety creeping back into me.
This wasn't a dream. I was stuck here! There is no way out! I could abstract! I didn't know for sure what that meant,but the mystery of it made me even more scared. I knew that the people who abstracted were no longer here. They didn't escape so...I shuddered. It wasn't good.
Suddenly I heard a knock at my door. I ignored it,half of me not wanting to open it,but the other half of me was just hoping the person on the other side would go away. But instead I heard the door creak open. Propping myself up,I looked to see who had entered the room. I relaxed slightly when I saw it was only Jax.
"Uhm..how did you get in?" I asked the rabbit. He twirled a golden key on his finger like a basketball before putting it away.
"I've got keys everywhere." He said with a smug look on his face. When did he get a key to my room? I only found my room just now. "How did you get a key to my room?" I asked Jax.
"Heh. Not important." He replied. Um,I beg to differ. That WAS pretty important,but I set the topic aside. For now Jax casually strode across my room and sat beside my cat bed. "How're you?" He asked.
Why was he asking? I mean,i guess it was kind of him to look out for me,but I digress. "Why would you ask?" I replied.
"Well we gotta look out for each other and besides....i wouldn't want ANYTHING to happen to something as cute as you." He said the last part with a smirk.
My tail began to wag a little bit as I replied "dude! That was CRINGE!" I couldn't help purring with amusement.
"You seem fine to me. Come on let's head back. I'm sure Caine has an adventure ready for us." Jax said as he left the room with me padding at his heels. I had a confident look on my face,ready for my first adventure.
