The farm

This is a flashback of why Jax(Peter)is scared of corn.

PETER'S POV
It was a normal day at the farm. Chickens clucked,cows mooed,and the crops were being harvested for my grandmothers famous vegetable soup. I was in the garden, harvesting the corn when my dad came up to me.
"Hello Peter! I think that is enough pieces of corn for grandma's soup. I'll take them to her." But our farm was across the road from grandma's house. On my dad's way there,he had dropped a piece of corn. He went to pick it up...but he didn't see the truck coming towards him. "DAD! THERES A TRUCK COMING!" it was too late. He...died later that night. I remembered the blood splattering on me,his screams of pain,I remember crying at his funeral.my brother was right beside me, grieving.A few days later I was feeding rose, the barn cat when suddenly,I found a vr headset at my feet. Next to it was a game called "the amazing digital circus." So after I finished feeding rose,I went to my room to try it out. I set it up,put on the vr headset, and then my life was changed forever.
Transition back to the circus.
Jax pov
When Caine announced that the adventure was a quest to face our fears, I got a little worried. Caine teleported me to a farm.
What? I walked around for a little bit,confused but then I saw it.....
Corn
An entire field of corn. I started to freak out a little bit. But my anxiety reached its peak when I heard the chanting.
"You killed your dad!"
"Ooh!so evil of you!"
"He's dead now..because you didn't remind him in time!"
"You're such a monster!" They laughed and kept chanting.
"STOP! I GET IT! MY DAD IS DEAD!!! just..stop." I just want them to STOP CHANTING!
End of flashback.

I stared at Jax in shock. "Woah. That was a lot..but don't worry. Your secret is safe with me." Then I left his room.
