The warning

"Woah,woah,woah. 'New home?'" I asked as I turned to Jax "what does he mean by that?"
"That's just the thing about the amazing digital circus!" Caine said. Wait....what?
"Where's the exit?" I asked
"There is NO EXIT!" His words hit me like a bullet going 100 miles per hour. And it stung. Bad.
"What!" I couldn't believe this. I WON'T believe it. This HAD to be a dream! I pinched my arm and winced at the pain that fired through my body. Nope. This is not a dream at all.
"I already tried to find the exit." Pomni said "trust me. You REALLY don't wanna go there."
"So I'm stuck here....forever?" I could barely get the words out of my mouth.
"It's not so bad after a while." The rag doll said.
"You get used to it" Jax added. But I didn't want to get used to it. I wanted to go home! Wherever the heck that was. I had a family waiting for me! At least I thought so. I HOPED so but I couldn't remember what was real or not.
I wanted all my memories back! I thought this place WAS cool and all but I didn't want to be stuck here forever! There HAS to be an exit somewhere!
I felt slightly dizzy as I grew more panicked. "You good there comet?" Jax asked me.
"Perhaps what you need is a in house adventure!" Caine said with enthusiasm.
"I just want to think for a while." I whimpered, scared as a mouse when it sees a cat ready to pounce on it.
" I'll take you to your room." The rag doll offered kindly.
"My..room? Umm..alright."
" I guess we'll have an adventure after this brief intermission!" Caine announced. Zooble rolled her eyes and walked away. I heard her mumble "finally." Under her breath.
" whenever somebody enters the circus, a room for them appears. Even though we don't NEED to sleep, we could use the privacy once in a while." The rag doll explained as she led me down a corridor that had doors along the walls. The doors had pictures on them. " I'm ragatha. I wish we were meeting under better circumstances."
"Yeah." I said,barely paying attention as my mind was in a daze. I looked at the pictures on the doors as we passed them. I recognized some of them as the other humans trapped in this circus. Others had pictures of characters I didn't recognize with an X covering their picture. "Hey. Who are these people?" I asked pointing at some of the doors with x's on them.
Ragatha looked away uncomfortably for a moment "those are the rooms of....former characters." She replied after a few seconds.
"What happened to them?" I asked,curiosity taking hold of me. Did they escape?
"Well they.....abstracted." Ragatha said sadly.
"ABSTRACTED?!? What's that?"I asked, not really wanting to know. But I needed to be aware of it.
"It's not really something you should worry about right now." Ragatha said,chuckling nervously. Seeing my confusion she sighed and decided to explain a tiny bit further " it happens when you reach your...breaking point." She said after a while.
"breaking point?" I echoed in a whisper.
"Hey it's okay. You won't abstract as long as you stay sane. And if you do....we'll find a way to save you." She said. I was silent after that,but my mind was racing. I could never leave! What if I abstracted?
