Chapter 6 ~ The Truth

I don't remember a lot after that but what I can remember is waking up with what it feels like a bunch on tubes in my legs and arms but the first thing I immediately notice is Justin's face sitting in a hard wooden chair looking nervous but still, as he looks over at me very shocked that I was awake he says to me softly " Oh my god , Taylor are you okay? " I looked at him in what I can recall a shocked face and said slowly " yeah, I mean.." I said hesitantly, " I don't even remember what happened and also where am I exactly " as I continued . He kind of smiled at me i guess trying to hold in his laughter and said " your at the City Hospital , for some reason you fainted and hit your head at my treehouse and never woke up , me and my mother toke you to the hospital, the nurse just came in and said that she is going to ask you some questions about your family and just stuff like that." When he said that I was kind of dazing off but I heard the word " family " and I immediately thought of my mother and how more mad she is going to be , for one not even knowing where I am and for 2 being in the hospital with a head injury. Justin sat back down as he looked scared , I never thought that Justin cared so much about me, a couple of minutes later after the awkward silence a skinny blond hair nurse with a tight back slick bun walked in a walked towards me , she had an all white suit with a microscope around her neck, she looked very tense when she first said to me " well I can tell you toke quite a hit!, now I'm just going to ask you a few questions about your family and just personally things like your age, gender, birthday things like that ". I just sit there waiting for her to ask the questions

" okay what's you name sweetheart?"

"Taylor Williams"

"Birthday? "

" April 7th 1998 "

" does your family know your here?"

I hesitate to tell the nurse the answer, all I could thing about was how my mother would be so mad and take me home immediately !

" umm my mother but she is ...... "

I try to think of a quick lie I could use just so no one would know about my mom

" yes , she is what? "

" she is gone to Toronto for a business trip "

As I lied to the sweet nurse with a straight face she just responded

" oh okay well there has to be someone taking care of you? "

" my older sister takes care of me "

As she asked me to write down her information on a blank sheet of paper I did and she gave me a sweet smile and said

" we are just going to take your blood and test it just to see what if you have any major physically troubles with your body "

I just said okay and the nurse slightly toke the tubes out of my arms and legs very carefully considering I still don't know what's going on partly

Justin sat there just looking nervous, he looked really cute when he is nervous. Anyways, I laughed a little and said

" what's wrong I'm fine honestly ! "

" I was just worried about you that's all I wouldn't want anything to happen to you "

He says as he walked over to my clunky hospital bed , it was only him there with me at the hospital which was weird because I always thought that a parents had to be there.

I look up at him standing there and smile as he smiles back , I put my head down as I realize that my hair is a complete mess , Justin slides his chair over next me , my hand his on the outside of the bed with a green needle in it, I don't feel like though , Justin looks down at my hand and reaches for it , he hold my hand softly, it feels good because I can feel the warmth of his hands, It was very sweet and comforting, as we both just there with our hands lacks the nurse walked in look ecstatic and nervous at the same time she says to me slowly but very anxiously

" Taylor, why didn't you tell is you have cancer? "

Justin looks up at me with a shocked face and hold my hands a little looser , the nurse just stand there as I sit written the hospital with my head down in shame feeling like I'm going to either die or burst out into tears
