Chapter 7 ~ I'm an open book

At this time the nurse and Justin were just staring at me just waiting for me to say something, I felt like I was going to puke from the pressure of everything and everyone around me, I try to say something as my trout clenches up , I feel the tears rolling down my face once again I say very soft fully because I can't talk at this point without dying a little inside " Im sorry .. " I pause for a minute as for a second I look up at Justin to see his pale face looking confused and also even more scared then he already was

" I didn't want anyone to know except for my mother "

Everyone keeps staring at me like I was a monster or something

The nurse speaks up and says

" well we have to know who your mother is "

I just sit there feeling weak and powerless as Justin is still holding my hold slightly

I say with a sad voice

" I really don't want to see are even talk about my mother please "

The nurse looks at me with an almost confused face but I can tell she was feeling pity for me, I always hated when people do that.

She looks at Justin and then looks at me with her meaningful brown eyes and quickly says

" Justin I would like you to leave just for a few minutes "

I instantly look up at Justin without saying a word as we lock eyes for a second or two as he slowly walks out of my hospital room

As soon as Justin walks out of the room the sweet nurse carefully takes the green chair beside her that Justin was previously sitting nervously in and sits down it one of her hands on my leg that was shivering from me being scared and worried about what's going to happen next, she looks up at me even though me head is down looking at my clenching pale hands shaking nervously, the nurse starts to talk

" sweetheart I know your young and I realize that it is very hard for you to talk about these things but its a hospital priority to know who is responsible for you considering you are under 18 "

I breath in slower and I was just about to speak until the nurse cut me off

" how about if you just write all the information you can give me on the piece of paper but when I call her I won't tell her your here or any information I know about you okay? "

I put my head up slowly as I look at the nurse with a smile on her face clearly hoping she made me a little happier somewhat

I say slowly

" okay, thank you so much! "

She looks at me with her bug brown eyes and comes a little closer

" your welcome, but shhhh don't tell anyone okay "

She says all she smiles and me and chuckles a little

I give her a slight smile as she passes me a pen and paper

I start to write down just the basics like my mothers name and phone number, right when the nurse is about to leave and closes my hospital curtain separating my bed from the ladies next to me just quickly opens it again peeking her head in a she says to me

" by the way, you and that boy make a really cute couple "

I just look up and once again smile, shake my head and go back to writing information on my monster mother,

About 15 minutes later I heard the nurse open the door to my hospital room and say

" you can come back in now Justin "

Justin came in and sat next to me, he just looks at me in the most serious but caring face I have ever saw him make, he starts to talk to me for the first time since he has known I have cancer

" you could of told me, I understand I swear, I just really can't believe it "

I listen to him talking as I was writing with tears almost rolling down my face, I put the paper down for a minute and look him in his beautiful blue eyes, I start to cry

" I'm sorry, I don't know why I didn't tell you I guess it just didn't come up but I.."

As he stops he in the middle of me crying and trying to tell him something he just moves closer to me and hugs so close that I can feel his black hair on my ear,, as he hugs me he says quietly

" stop crying, I'm always here "

I hug back feeling like I was loved for the first time in weeks, right after he says that I stopped crying and I toke a deep breath just to calm me down and love this moment, I say slightly back

" thank you , "

He lets go of me quivering back and sits back down in the chair as he looks and he for a few minutes and finally says

" can we make a promise? "

He says as I sit there surprised

" yeah, what is it ? "

I looks at me with a smile

" always be honest with each other no matter what "

I giggle and he is still looking at me with his cute little smile and say

" deal "
