Chapter 8 ~ feels like Home

I slowly lean back on my pillow feeling almost relaxed and calm for a minute without shaking or crying it feels good, I look at Justin with his head down and his hair is a bloody mess, I close my eye softly trying to think of a better place instead of being in a hospital bed terrified

I get woken up by Justin poking me and saying " wake up beautiful " I wake up looking surprised and happy, justin had a coat around his arm and a big smile on this face

I was very confused I say

" what's going on ? "

He looks at me and says

" my mom said that you can stay at my house for as long as you want and that you can get out of the hospital ! "

I smile and look down as I realize that I'm in old pjs , my hair is a mess and I feel gross from the hospital

I say joyfully

" okay but can I at least change ? "

I say with a grin

I was really stiff as I slowly get up from the hospital bed and walk quietly to the closest bathroom trying really hard not to disturb any of the other patients

I walk into the hospital bathroom get changed, brushed my teeth and hair and quickly get out and pack my surf from the hospital room, Justin grabs my coat and hands it to me, he tells me his mom is waiting in the car for us, I say thank you to the nice nurse for everything she has done and me and just walk down the endless hospital hall of level 3 , as we walk down the hall there was silence and then we reach the elevator to go to the main level where Justin's mom is, I look at his with a smile and say " thank you for everything " and he looks over at me with a surprised face and smiles and flips his black hair to the left side " no problem, I have been through a lot and I feel like we connect "

I blush as Justin reaches for my hand and holds it tightly with care, we finally reach the main floor where his mom is when Justin is still holding my hand as we walk to the greenish car with a thin women with blonde hair in the drivers seat, I carefully sit down in the back seat and instantly when I seat in the car there is a strong smell of lavenders, it makes me feel welcome, I sit there quietly as Justin introduces me to his mother

" oh mom this is Taylor , the girl you said could stay with us "

She looks behind so she could see me , she had white teeth with a smile on her face, seemed like a really nice lady, she replied

" well hi Taylor nice to meet you "

I put a slight smile on my face and say

" hi you too and thank you for letting me stay in your home "

" no problem sweetheart anything for a friend "

I feel really loved as I look out the window Of the car until we reach the house, the car comes to a stop as justin says " we're hear "

I instantly see the treehouse that I was last in and I take my bag with my shaken up hands and silently walk into the house with the wind blowing hard

I walk down the hall following Justin's lead as he is showing me my room, there house is very comforting

He guides me to this small for comfy room with a bed , a book shelf, and a closet, it was very " home like " so I felt welcome

I lay my bag on the bed and sit down when Justin says

" it's not much but it's all we can do, I'm going to leave you here just so u can settle "

I smile with sympathy as he leaves the room

I lay on the bed staring at the wooden wall beside me just trying to to fall asleep as i suddenly think in my head " feels like home "
