3rd pov limited

A feeling unheard of bloomed through Juniper's chest, one she couldn't recognize too well. It was warm and made her happy. Though Charlie's reaction was the opposite... terrified.

"What's wrong, Charlie? It's okay, it must've just slipped," Juniper excused seeing as she didn't want to make Charlie uncomfortable.

"I-I'm so sorry Juniper, I didn't mean to call you mom!" Charlie apologized awkwardly bashful.

Juniper only laughed and Charlie went along, feeling awkward. "Sooo... how long was I out?"

Charlie didn't respond but instead launched herself on the bed, hugging Juniper tightly. Light giggles came from both their mouths though Charlie's turned into small sobs.

"It's okay, I'm right here, Charlie." I patted her hair calmly.

My body felt... weird. Oddly refreshed despite sleeping the past something days. I thought I would've been groggy or thirsty, but no. I just felt good.

Charlie gasped and sat up, suddenly not crying. "I need to tell the others!"

She got off me and started running towards the door. "Charlie!! W-wait a minute, my hair is a mess!!"

She ignored me, shouting down the halls "Juniper is awake! Cmon!" Repeatedly. I shook my head with a laugh as I heard aggressive fast footsteps rush towards my room.

The door flew off the walls due to Angel kicking it. He jumped towards me and immediately threw me in a hug while muttering something about being worried.

Light laughs escaped my mouth as Husk, Cherri and Charlie joined in the little group hug.

"You had us worried," Husk muttered while ruffling my hair playfully.

"Yeah! I was so bored while you were gone! Seriously! Everything was so melancholy!" Cherri complained halfheartedly.

I was squished inbetween Cherri and Angel, Charlie and Husk now stood next to my bed smiling. By the door was Vaggie, Dia and Alastor.

"My! I thought you were a lost cause!" Alastor walked in towards the end of my bed, smiling down at me. Vaggie walked up next to him with a small smile.

"Welcome back, Juniper."

I rolled my eyes, "fuck off, Al. And thank you, Vaggie."

Then I noticed that Lucifer wasn't in the room, though with where I was looking everyone assumed I wanted to talk to Dia.

Charlie grimaced, "yeahhh, we'll leave you two alone."

Cherri and Angel groaned before following the rest of the crew out. I also needed to talk to her too, but I couldn't help but be disappointed Lucifer wasn't there.

"See ya later, toots," Angel said on his way out. Shutting the now- fixed door behind him.

Dia bashfully walked up and stood to me left. I stared at her with a polite smile.

"How's it been going with me gone? Anyone give you trouble?" I asked seeing as she wasn't going to talk.

"Well, no. Our lessons have been put on pause though. How's your... injury?" Dia responded warily.

"It's doing much better, I was expecting worse to be honest. What ended up happening to Reagan?"

"W-well after you blacked out, Lucifer went crazy on Raegan. Like to the point she was almost dead. It didn't help that Angel had her restrained either. Lucifer probably would've continued if it weren't for you," Dia forced out emotionally

I tilted my head with a frown.

"He only stopped after Charlie said something about you losing blood."

It went quiet as Dia looked around the room unsurely.

"And how do you feel about what happened?"

Dia suddenly frowned frustratedly. "What do you mean me? I'm not the one who got cut up! How do you feel about what happened?"

I smiled a little, "I know I got cut up and I don't particularly care about the fact that I did. What I want to know is how you feel about it."

She opened her mouth and closed it again before speaking, "w-well I feel bad that it happened. I also feel betrayed because that was my sister going behind my back, it's also been hard for me to go up to the others. T-they haven't been rude or anything, I just feel guilty."

"It's okay, Dia. It'll get easier to cope with soon. Sometimes the world will just... do that to a person. The universe is a sucker for balance, you know? The good comes with bad and the bad comes with good. Sooner or later, things will get better for you, regardless if you believe that." I put my hand on Dia's shoulder warily as her eyes teared up.

Before she could start crying I held my hand up, "not to cut this conversation short but can you get Lucifer for me?"

Dia laughed with tears in her eyes and nodded.

Lucifer came rushing in the room, slamming the door behind him. He paused for a moment and took deep breaths from his run to my room. I watched with an amused smile.

"You could've teleported here, you know?" His head snapped up quickly as he literally jumped on me, hugging tightly.

I laughed out loud, "Luci stop! I probably smell weird!"

He laughed and started to attack my cheek and jaw with kisses while my face scrunched with laughter, "you smell just fine to me!"

Something changed, but I don't know what.

Slowly he pulled away and that was when I noticed our position. His hands were besides my head, him straddling me. Lucifer, however, did not care to study our position. His eyes stayed trained at my face, his pupils blown out, adorning a light blush and messy hair.

For his attire it was black pajama pants and a white button up that was left unbuttoned by 4. I stared at his eyes for a moment, both of us leaning closer until I remembered something.

Quickly, I put my hand on Lucifer's face and gently pushed him off to the side. Immediately a sad rejected look casted his face as I walked to my bathroom. As fast as I possibly could I brushed my teeth and swished mouthwash.

Opening the bathroom door, Lucifer stood outside about to knock.

"Hi—" I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him in for a kiss. I have no time for a second thought.

Immediate feelings of comfort and warmth entered my heart as he pulled me closer by the nape of my neck and waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck but then I came back to earth and pulled away.

Lucifer stared at me dumbly as I started to ramble. "I'm so sorry, I should've asked if you wanted a kiss. I feel like such an idiot—"

Lucifer grabbed me by the jaw and pulled me into another kiss, locking me in place around my neck and waist. I pressed myself against him as warmth entered my body once more. All I wanted was to be as close to him as possible, forever.

He definitely shut me up effectively.

Once we both pulled away, a string of saliva connected our lips as we took greedy breaths. I couldn't help but notice his stare and wide pupils. A blush quickly made its way on my face.

Lucifer sat at the edge of the bed, pulling me along on top of him.

"Wow," I muttered breathlessly.

He nodded and hugged me to his chest, falling back on the mattress. The place we ended up falling asleep.
