Lilith laughed awkwardly once noticing all eyes on her. "My Luci, of course told me alllll about Heaven!"

Lucifer let out a fake cough. "Not yours."

I squinted my eyes and turned to him, making an annoyed face. He did the same but more mocking. We were making fun of her and she knew it. Lilith stared with another sharp smile.

"How long will you be staying, mom?" Charlie piped up, Lilith turned around and smiled a little softer.

"As long as you're here, my dear, I'll be staying!"

Charlie's eyes softened for a moment and she sighed softly. "Of course you can stay mom... just, you know, uhhhh, I don't know."

"Of course, dear." Lilith responded with a sweet smile.

After that, everyone was finally allowed to leave the room. It was awkward and for once the hotel was completely silent. That was extremely anticlimactic. Why'd she apparently wanna see me so bad?

Lucifer and I walked into my room silently, thoughts swimming through our hands.

"She's totally hiding something, right?"

"Most definitely... but," Lucifer sighed and rubbed his face.

"But?"

"I don't want Charlie to get crushed again... she doesn't deserve that." I nodded in agreement with a frown on my face. Lucifer peeked at me from over his hands.

"Maybe we should just keep an eye out for suspicious activity from her, gather evidence and whatnot and warn Charlie so she can keep an eye out as well." I scratched my head and sat down on my bed, Lucifer sitting next to me with our thighs touching.

"Maybe, I just don't think Charlie would believe us. She is my daughter, I used to be as oblivious as she is before... you know," Lucifer winced as he looked up at the ceiling.

I shuffled my feet slightly. "I wouldn't describe Charlie as oblivious, I think she's just hopeful. Like you were."

"Maybe. Anyways, what do you wanna do tonight? Maybe I can take you out, we can get out of the hotel and have our own fun before focusing on this whole Lilith thing?" Lucifer offered with a small smile.

"Yeah! I think that'll be really cool! Maybe we can go to one of the parks and gossip afterwards! Or watch a movie and cuddle," I smiled happily just by thinking of it.

"It's a date, pretty girl."
