On the 12th hour of the first day of October of 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth, this was unusual only in the fact that none of these women was pregnant when the day first began.
Sir Reginald Hargreeves, eccentric billionaire and adventurer, resolved to locate and adopt as many of the children as possible. 
He got seven of them.

Live on the news report the death of the eccentric billionaire Reginald Hargreeves. His children, scattered around the world and even on the moon, didn't know how to feel when they saw or heard about this.
The rain drizzled softly that night, leaving a damp chill in the air. The next day, a woman clad in a black jacket and scarf made her way inside the academy for the first time in years. She glanced around the familiar surroundings before her gaze settled on a blonde woman in a vintage dress, seated in the living room beside the crackling fireplace.
"Hey, Mom" she greeted her
"Mom?" she walked closer to see her staring blankly into space.
"Vanya?" A voice called from the stairs. Startled, she turned around to see a woman with curly hair descending the steps. "You're actually here," the woman chuckled softly after speaking.
"Hey Allison"
"Hey sis"
They exchanged greetings, and then Allison walked forward and embraced her. Vanya, though, didn't fully reciprocate the hug, her arms only partially wrapping around Allison.
