3RD PERSON'S P. O. V.

The earthbender prisoner stomps the ground and the boulder rises, Azula glances at him to prepare for the next move. The rock flew to aim her but she quickly jumped with the help of flames. Azula grunts as her foot blasts the fire at him, the prisoner uses his arms to protect himself.

Azula is now standing on the ground, the prisoner walks and starts to earthbend, but she fastly bursts the flames at him. She blasts again, making the prisoner feel exhausted from the heat.

“That's enough.” Fire Lord Ozai said while her trainer nodded in agreement. “Enough!” he quickly said it as Azula stopped bursting her flames. She is panting and glances at them. “The Fire Lord deems your performance... Below Average.”

Azula furrowed her eyebrows at the response. “But I defeated him!” she said furious. “You should've finished him at least 2 moves earlier. Thus, you will undergo another trial tomorrow.” Azula stood there in silence at the statement. Fire Lord Ozai said nothing as he turned back and walked away, along with the 2 men.

Azula then walks towards her friends. “You realize he's playing games with you, right?” Mai stated and Shizuma nodded at her. “Didn't feel like a game when that boulder was flying at my head,” Azula said with a hint of sarcasm. “Just saying your father knows you're the best,” Mai said truthfully.

“He just doesn't want you to know that.” Ty Lee said to cheer her up, but it didn't work in the end. “Let my father empty his prisons. Send every bender he has at me, like how Zizi challenges a fight to 3 benders.” Shizuma was caught off-guard but was not surprised at the same time.

“I'll burn everyone in the world until he admits the truth.” Azula finished it which makes Ty Lee curious. “What truth?” she asked the Fire Princess. “That I'm... the one.”

“Then don't accept.”

The 3 girls eyed the young noblewoman. “Mai is right. Not only he's playing games at you... he is testing you, Azula.” the girls couldn't help but get goosebumps from her cold tone. “Just like how he was testing me...”

“He does...? How?” her older sister asked, slightly widening her eyes in shock. “When he asked if I challenged to fight 3 prisoners in Dual Bending Combat.” she paused as the girls still eyed her in curiosity.

“It may be a simple suggestion, but it's more than that. You know what Fire Lord Ozai is, his main focus is strength. Not in physically, but in here...” she tapped gently on the right side of her forehead. “Our mind.”

Azula smirks as she knows what her best friend is thinking. “So what brilliant idea do you have, Zizi?” the Fire Princess asked her. “Do you girls remember our sleepover 7 years ago, when Mai told us a scary story?”
