I was playing with George as Simon walked in with the column containing news of the ball as it was upcoming soon. There were other rumors pertaining to my brother going to see Philippa late at night. I needed to write a letter by going into Simon's study to sit down to write a letter as I saw a letter out in the open with my name on it.

Dear, Charlotte

I've kept my feelings for you contained as long as I can... he was standing at the entrance way of the study as he continued the letter by saying it with his whole heart and chest. ''I am in love with you, and true, honest love should not be contained and kept quiet forever. There is so much about you that made you stand out from the other ladies in town. They only see the capture of wanting a wife. They see you as a mere cattle, but my love for you is more than skin deep. My feelings for you grow everyday and my love grows deeper with every passing minute. You mean so much to me. Just seeing your smiling face and hearing your heart-melting voice brightens up my worst days and makes them more than just bearable. I dream of you in and day out; you're the only one on my mind now. I am in love with you and have been in love with you since I saw you at the Edwards ball. I will humble myself for you and George just to have a ray of sunshine in my life.'' I was so startled from the moment I saw him standing there as he walked over little-by-litle as he expressed his feelings for me.

''You and George are important.'' I didn't know he was going to do this here. I couldn't contain my tears when he expressed his feelings. I didn't know what to say either. Then he held my hand as he told me that I feel the same way because he read my letter back when we were at Hansley's townhome. He didn't want to pressure me into saying it because he caught me off guard with the confession of love. I wanted to spit it out by telling him that I love him so much I never thought I could. I couldn't hold on for too long other than to make my feelings known to him right now and here. I shouted out loud that I love him so much.

''Marrying you was not a part of my story, also I thought it was the end of my liberty. I happened to find out that it was the beginning of it. You're the person I want to dive headfirst into life with. When I speculate about the future, I want to see you in every fantasy I plan for myself. You're the person I want to dance with in our home. You're the person who makes the whole world feel wide open to me, and I want to take advantage of that. I cannot and will not pretend that I don't love as if it, I have been denying my feelings for you. I love you with my whole heart.'' He held my hand as he leaned in kissing me as we stayed in the moment of our confessions. We have been fighting it for so long and have been denying what we have been feeling all this time all because of fear.

We felt that we don't love one another when we do love one another passionately. As he held me our bodies started to move as we moved in the direction of dancing with one another. I was lost in his eyes because he makes me crazier each day I'm in his presence. Then we got interrupted when Mrs. Holdingtower needed me to finalize some details for tonight's ball. I gave Simon a light kiss on his lips as I left him in the room to handle some final details for the ball tonight.

I feel relief that the man I never thought I would end up marrying loves me. He actually loves me so much that he was willing to face his fears to let me know that he has been in agonizing pain because he didn't know if I love him. Mrs. Holdingtower wanted to know if I wanted anything polished before tonight including what objects we are planning to use for the other room.

I wanted to make sure this was the night that I make my debut with my husband and our newborn child. I told Mrs.Holdingtower to do what is best as I tell her to make sure the chandelier is polished enough to sparkle for tonight. I left her in the care of fixing up the rest as I went to the study to write a letter to Charlie about bringing all of the Hansley siblings to the Hampton palace.
