⚫CHAPTER 27⚫

:Nightmare:

"He really did this!!" Reeva's jaw hung down and eyes widened. Vinnie sipped the drink and nodded peacefully.

"He wants me to join hands with him. But what if he ends up deceiving me afterwards??" Vinnie stomped the juice on the table and folded her arms over her chest.

Reeva's forehead flattened.

"It would be better if you clarify it yourself to him only." Vinnie shifted a skeptic eyesight towards Reeva, who wore a mischievous grin.

Just with a snap of time, Reeva held Vinnie's arm and twisted her to the back, hitching her breath at once.

"Byee!!" She whispered in her ears and ran from there without even bothering to listen to her.
Rudra was standing just before Vinnie. She turned back to see Reeva running and closed her eyes in frustration.

She again turned back and flinched a little. With some ongoing thoughts and questions, she completely forgot about Rudra's presence.

"What??" Rudra chuckled, observing her face back and forth.
"What are you here for??" She kept her hand on her chest.
"Miss Thief, I haven't got my answer."
Rudra pushed his hands inside his pocket.

"Are you willing to join hands with me??"
Vinnie's lips flattened and she left a heavy sigh.

"See, I cannot really trust you with all. You work for him, not for me. And... Backstabbing in Mafia fields is of course a daily cup of tea for y'all. So,...."

"Yes, exactly......backstabbing and betrayal is common to all of us. So, if I betray him, it wouldn't cause any big loss to him." Rudra interrupted her before she could speak more.

Vinnie remained completely speechless, just blinked a couple of times. She licked her lips once and finally broke her silence.

"Why Are you so desperate to help me??"

Her eyes digger into his and he stepped more closer to her with a small grin on his lips.
"I'm waiting for your answer Rutesh."

"Hai jo iraade bataa du tumko,
Sharma hi jaogi tum!!" Rudra spoke against her lips.

The words drilled into Vinnie's blood and she felt her entire physique heating up. All her buried unwanted cravings started to get revealed on her face, noticed by Rudra clearly.

He tugged her hair strand behind her ear while she hung her head down, all unable to meet his intense gaze. He held her chin up, bringing her face so close his that her nose collided with his. His hand slid down to her neck and his thumb waved through her cheek. Both of them looked into each other's eyes. Rudra's touch had the dirtiest impact on Vinnie that compelled her to close her eyes and feel it to her soul. The other hand of Rudra gently glided through her shoulders, to her arm and then finally to her palm. He caressed her dorsal area.

She clenched another hand and finally tried to free herself from his touch and so attempted to move away but before that, he intertwines their fingers with each other pulling her closer to him by her neck. Her hand moved to her neck and she held his hand. Their foreheads were attached, noses were merged and his lips were slightly brushing against hers as if their prior accidental kiss would anytime turn into a consensual one.

"Miss Thief, I can feel the goosebumps in your body." He mumbled with open eyes across her face.

He ran his fingers against her milky white, smooth skin with cold creeps while her heart beats so fast and loud that it was audible to the ears of both of them. She let out a shaky gasp.
