⚫CHAPTER 41⚫

:JEALOUSY:

Vinnie ousted the room after cleaning the haldi from her face.

"Hey, excuse me!"  A sudden voice made her movements stopped, as she backed off to see a man standing behind her in complete bewilderment.

"

You're the groom's friend, right??"  He asked politely.

"Yes."  Vinnie replied, with a small smile on her face.

"Hi, I am Raj."  He extended his hand and Vinnie joined into a firm handshake.
"Vinnie."  she introduced herself.
"It's nice to meet you."   Rohan maintained his warm smile.

"Actually, I just came a few moments ago and cannot understand which room to use. I want to use the washroom so-"

"It's okay. You can use mine."
"Are you sure??"
"Yes, completely. Do not hesitate." Vinnie affirmed, walking back with him and opened the door welcoming him inside.

He went inside the washroom and came out after a few moments.

"Are you done??" She asked.
"Yeah, thank you."

"Welcome." Both of them walked back outside the room.

"Okay, bye." Rohan bid as she greeted him back with a smile.
"Bye."

"I'll see you soon."  With that, both of them departed.

Vinnie entered back to her room and pulled out the rubber band untying her hair.

She turned back to move but collided with a hard chest which made her to stumble back and fall on her bed.

"What the hell!??"  She settled herself and looked at the person standing before her with dead serious face.

"Arghh.. Mr. Ridiculous, you scared me idiot!!"  She placed her hand on her chest, calming her breaths down. 

"Did I?? Then you've to stop your actions which makes me to scare you."  He smiled and placed himself right beside her.

Vinnie's POV:

I couldn't process this behavior of his. My confused eyes scanned through his expressions.

His smile.. It wasn't that angelic smile of his. But it had something different, something maniac. I mean only a psycho can smile this evilly.

"Are you okay?"  I raised my hand to his cheek and caressed it lightly.

"I was okay. Trust me!! And I'll be okay, just say once that you love me."  His tone carried some amount of an unusual excitement which I can't figure out why.

And this certain demand??

"Okay, let's make it crystal clear. Vinnie!!"  He closed the distance between us.

For the first time, he called me by my name. And with a swift jerk, I found myself sitting in his lap.
Was I, a 55 kg woman, so light to move??

He wrapped his arms around my waist and snuggled his nose on the bare skin of my chest. I felt a ticklish sensation inside me.

"You know what, I love you insanely Miss Thief."  His words came out muffled.

"You're the only colour to my life. The peace to the storm inside me. The medicine to the wounds inside me. And the only drug to calm the Monster inside me."  I continued to brush my fingers through his hair but his possessive tone kinda scared me.
