:HAZARDS ON THE WAY:

Aarav's phone buzzed up breaking into their conversation as he excused himself to receive it.

"What!!?" He yelled on the call, his eyes displaying terror. He declined the call, rubbing his palm over his face in irritation.

"Is everything okay??" Rudra's voice came from the back, making him sigh.

"Boss, firstly you need to calm down to hear this. You cannot get angry, okay??"

"Tell me already what the fuck is wrong!!??" Rudra's voice raised impatiently, flinching Reeva with the dangerous depth and Aarav closed his eyes in acceptance.

"Police found out out old medicine factory-" His words were cut by the vigorous smash of Rudra's phone on the wall. He rushed to grab Aarav's collar and pinned him against the wall.

"Do you realise what the fuck you're even saying??? The loss will be massive, damnit!! How the hell can they be so irresponsible!!? Bastards!!" Aarav remained calm as Rudra busted his heart out.

Reeva stood there in a corner, observing the business conversations.

"Boss the drugs were already transported. I got the news of police chasing the place two days ago. So, I urgently shifted all the medicine boxes inside the tunnel and replaced them with penicillin and some sleeping pills. We don't need to worry about the loss." He assured him, causing the grip to loosen.

"Our men are taken in the custody of the police as suspected. But they're our loyal dogs, they'd rather dir than to reveal us. But the problem is...-"

"We can't let them die." Rudra's statement rang against his face, shutting his mouth.

"We still need them for the drug transport in Russia. No one is more capable than them." Rudra pushed his hands inside the side pockets and moved towards the window, his gaze calculating and determined.

"Aarav, I'm sure media gotta know about this and right now if they come to know about our location, Hoor will come to know everything. I can't risk it. Arrange charity events on the occasion of completion of Mehrotra Multinationals and make sure it reaches each and every news channel. Arrange fair, competitions and whatever else required to gain the attention of the media. Start the transportation right now. We can't risk the products with police."

"But our men??"

"We'll bail then out and help the cops with the investigation. And it should be A. PROPER. POIGNANT. INVESTIGATION. Got it??" His voice laced with dangerous sincerity as he instructed Aarav.

"Boss, won't we try to buy them??" Rudra shook his head in denial.

"Indian cops are the biggest bastards of all the time. They'll double cross you in a way you won't even dare to figure out. They'll trap us and we won't even get the chance to pull the trigger." He scoffed.

Both of them turned to Reeva, scanning her presence as he blinked her eyes trying to normalise the trauma she received.

"You guys are gossiping about illegal transportation, bribing and murder with such casual tone that people might think that you're talking about your family planning." Both of them chuckled.
