Jasmine froze in her place all unable to digest the words that just now had hit her senses.
" My Majesty! I think now you're doing haste with the decisions of Jasmine's life. She's just turned 15 and you want to hand over the vast empire of the Rajputs to her!? It's 2014 and she's still a child she needs to enjoy her life first, she should know what's life." Queen Jenalisa interferes a bit angry.
"Queen, I understand your emotions for Jasmine, but please try to understand....we all are humans... Our life span is limited, that's why I don't want my Jaipur projects to remain incomplete just because Jasmine is 15 years old." King maintained his cool and explained to Queen.
But Jasmine's face remained completely unreadable, void of any particular emotion.
Her eyes teared up, lips quivered a little. She blinked her tears out.
"Baba!!" The trembling lips finally spoke. King turned towards her.
"Do you trust me to be that much capable of been able to maintain the heritage of this Crown??" Another tear fell from his eyes. Kings eyes darkened at her. He wiped the tear off her cheeks.
"Why can I see the shackles of lack of confidence in your forehead, Princess? Is that not what you wanted to be for so long??" His tone became dangerously serious and firm.
"Will I be able to..??" Her softness increased and the voice finally ousted as a whisper at least enough audible to her father.
"The answer is within yourself only."
King backed his hands and held behind him. "Close your eyes and try to recollect what I'm saying."
She closes her eyes at once and a roar echoes to her ear. "A Worrier!!"
