CHAPTER 3
Tatlong araw na ang nakalipas matapos ang usapang naganap pero hindi ko pa rin mapigilan tanungin ang sarili kung bakit ko nararanasan ang mga ito.
Natapos ang usapang iyon nang sinabi nila ang lahat. I didn't had the strength and courage to come in school and continue my exam last Monday until Thursday, so my mother went to school and excused me on my instructors.
Natapos na sana ang lahat ng exam namin kahapon but I had some exams to take pa, I decided to finish it today. And luckily, kahit wala sa sarili natapos ko ngayong araw.
My friends keep texting and calling me also this past few days, asking how I am and telling me comforting words.
I smiled bitterly when I remembered what Dad told me.
Dad didn't love Mama Lilian, the mother whom I knew . He said he tried but he just can't. He also told me that he was shocked when Lilian told him that something happened between them and got pregnant. At first he hesitated that it's his child so they had us test to prove it.
My father didn't had a second thought on marrying her when the test came out that I'm his child, he wants to give me a complete family, by the reason of, he didn't want me to be like him. He's from a broken and complicated family.
I shivered as the cold breeze touched my skin. I look up at the sky and wipe my tears that I didn't even notice .
When I will be free from this pain? Pwede bang itangay mo na ito sa madaling panahon?
I sighed heavily and went to my room. I'm here at our family house, the house that we used to live as a family. Sinama ako ni dad pauwi nang araw na iyon. He didn't want me to go back to my cousin's condo because he knew that I'm alone. Baka kung ano raw pa ang magawa ko.
The school year finally ended and that means it's already vacation however I don't feel the same excitement like I've used to it.
I sat on my bed and overthink about my future. What am I going to do now?
Sa kalaliman ng pag-iisip hindi ko na namalayang hinila na ako ng antok.
Nagising nalang ako nang marinig ang sunod sunod na pagtunog ng cellphone ko hanggang sa pagtigil nito. Hindi ko sana ito papansinin nang mag-ring na naman ito.
Napahawak ako sa ulo ko sa inis. Bahagya pang pumitik pitik ang sentido ko sa biglang pagmulat. I'm still sleepy!
I took my phone and answered it without seeing the caller is.
"Damn you, Zyair Evangeline! Kaninang umaga pa ako tumatawag sayo ha!" may pagkalakas na saad nito sa kabilang linya.
I rolled my eyes because of her loud voice. Saffi and her mouth.
"I'm sleeping, why ba?" inaantok na tanong ko rito.
"Seriously, you're still sleeping at this hour?
Kumunot ang noo ko rito at tiningan ang orasan na nakasabit sa dingding ng kwarto ko.
1: 39 pm? Napaawang ang bibig ko.
"I overslept. " sabi ko nalang.
"Overslept, your ass. By the way, what's your plan this vacation?"
"I don't know yet."
"Do you want to do summer job? Sir Siegfried recommend us to a company. We your loving classmates are go for it, go ka ba? "
Kumunot ang noo ko. "Summer job? We're gonna work?"
"Yeah, there's a big company that started to recruit students to do a summer job for experience. When I said big, it is really big. The owner are hella damn rich!" mahabang saad niya.
