8:38 PM Oct. 11th (Eddie's POV)

Eddie was in his room, inspecting his outfit in the mirror when he heard a knock on his door. He tousled his hair one last time before going to answer it.

He opened the door to see none other than Steve Harrington standing on his steps, his hands in his pockets.

Steve looked a lot more confident than he was the last time he was at the Munson house. Though, there was still a shyness in the way he was looking down and his hesitation to come in even when told it was ok. Eddie welcomed him nonetheless, leading him to his room.

"Sorry I'm a little late," Steve said, sitting down on Eddie's bed as Eddie went back to his dresser.

"It's alright. I still gotta add the last touches to the outfit anyway," Eddie said with his back to him as he picked a few rings out of his old-ashtray-turned-ring-storage-spot.

He turned back to Steve, putting on his rings and adjusting his belt chain.

"So, how do I look?" Eddie put his arms out, twisting a bit side-to-side to show Harrington the whole outfit.

He was wearing black, ripped jeans with one of his Back Sabbath Tees. He had two piercings in his earlobes in each ear and an industrial piercing on his right, and he had decided on his bat and simple hoop earrings. He had on black leather boots and a matching jacket, covered in various buttons, with his signature back handkerchief and handcuffs in his back pocket. And rings, obviously. Plus a little eyeliner, too.

"You... look great," Steve said, clearly staring before he shook his head, seemingly shaking himself out of his thoughts, whatever they were.
Eddie chuckled, noticing Steve's outfit.

"So do you."

Steve was wearing loose, light blue jeans and a loose crop top. It seemed like it used to be a normal shirt before someone cut of the bottom and the sleeves. He also had a light gray jacket with him, tied around his waist. He had no jewelry, but his signature hair was perfectly styled as always.

"Well, it was all I had clean. I'm doing laundry tomorrow. Robin got it for me and cut it. I don't usually wear it in public," he admitted as he sat down on the bed.

"Hmm, you should wear it more often. Or cut more shirts. It's hot."

Eddie flashed him a smile before he went to check on his guitar. Aside from his Uncle Wade, it was the only thing that got him through the rough times. He sighed as he remembered all the nights spend in his band mate's garages. He turned back around to see Steve nervously fiddling with his shirt, not looking up.

Eddie nealed down so he would be in Steve's line of sight and waited a few seconds for Steve to make eye contact with him.

"Come on," Eddie said, holding his hand out for Steve to take, "I need a snack before we go and I'm not in the mood to drink with the other emo vampires."

Steve let out the most adorable giggle Eddie had ever heard as he took Eddie's hand and followed him to the kitchen. Eddie grabbed a pac of O+ blood and hopped up in the counter, next to the sink.

Steve leaned on the counter next to him and they chatted for a bit about one thing or another.

"You've, uh, you got something right there," Steve said, pointing to a spot on Eddie's cheek.

Eddie tried wiping off where he thought Steve pointed. "Here?"

Steve chuckled. "No, no- just- let me-"

Steve, seemingly unaware of what he was actually doing, settled standing in between Eddie's legs, wiping off a spot next to Eddie's nose.

"Honestly, how did you get blood there?" He said, still working on the spot, "There. All good."

Steve smiled, but then it seemed to dawn on him the position he had out them in has he put both his hands on the counter, next to Eddie's legs.
They stared at each other for a second. Eddie's eyes stayed in Steve's deep, brown eyes. Well, except for when he glanced down at his lips. But that was only for a split second. Eddie thought he was imagining it, but he swore Steve leaned just a bit closer to him before blinking and awkwardly pulling away.

"Shit- um, sorry..."

" No, no, you're good."

Eddie jumped down from the counter and threw away the empty bag of blood.

"Alright, let's get going, Harrington."

"You read my mind," Steve said, grabbing his keys from his jacket pocket.

9:05 PM Oct. 11th (still Eddie)

When Steve and Eddie walked in, the first thing they saw was a witch brewing some potion on the dining table.

There were two actually working on it, one of them being Robin, while the other people around it were just watching.

Steve seemed to perk up and look at them as soon as they entered the house. He looked pretty confused as he looked back at Eddie, but it seemed like he brushed it off once they got to the kitchen. Once they got through the crowd, they found Mike, Will, Dustin, and El crowded around the kitchen counter.

"Hey, that better be soda in those cups," Steve said as they walked over to them.

"Yeah, ok, Mom. Yes, it's soda," Mike said, rolling his eyes as he put his arm around Will's shoulders.

Will just giggled, but Steve was not pleased. He put his hands on his hips and gave them a scary stare. You know, the scary mom stare that moms do when you've really annoyed them.

That seemed to shut them all up.

Eddie thought it was hilarious.

"Alright, well, what do you want to drink?" Eddie said as he walked around the counter to be across from Steve.

"Oh, um, just mix some Sprite and vodka. I'm only gonna have like one or two, I just need to get a little buzzed."

"Oh? I thought you'd want to stay sober to watch over the kiddies," Eddie said as he mixed Steve's drink and gestured to four out of the six kids.
The four of them all made their own protests to being called kiddies, but Eddie and Steve just ignored it and chuckled.

They caught themselves keeping eye contact as Steve got his drink and took a sip.

It felt weirdly flirty as Steve started to talk to the kids, but would glance at Eddie once in a while. He would wink when he made an inside joke that only he and Eddie would get. It felt like they were the only two people in the room sometimes.

About half an hour later, Robin started gathering people for Seven Minutes in Heaven. Steve rolled his eyes but Eddie thought it would be fun. He always loved when it worked out really well, and when the pairings didn't. He lived for the drama.

The first pairing was two selkies that, by chance, were already dating. Then a mummy and one of the werewolves, which surprisingly went well.
Than after two more spins, it came down to Eddie in the circle. Robin, who was standing next to him, gave him a nudge of encouragement as he picked up the bottle and spun it.

It spun around and around, eventually landing on...

Oh shit.

Steve.

Steve.
