The ninja descended into a dark cavern, with blue lights that illuminated the place, Anna brushed off the particles of ice that stuck to her ninja gi as Jay stepped toward an opening, He squinted his eyes at the structure, which was made of steps and blue algae, "The Frist Spinjitzu Master," He uttered, Hearing that name, the ninja make their way to him or it. Anna went on one knee, and upon seeing the remains of the creator of this world, her teammates also did the same.
Zane flicked his gaze towards a blue gemstone, being held in the skeleton's hand "The Realm Crystal," he mumbled, standing up, he carefully reached toward the gem and picked it up.
"How does it work?" Kai asked, Anna was about to say something when a harsh, cold voice cut their conversation short "How it works is you'll hand over the Crystal, or say goodbye to your friend,"
"Lloyd!" Anna screamed, her shocked and anxious soon turned into an angered one as she bitterly glared at Morro, "I'm sorry. I couldn't stop him," Lloyd's weak, fragile voice shirked. Morro moves the blade closer to his neck "So what'll it be?" Morro askes with a little grin on his face which Anna would gladly wipe off.
She immediately turned back to the other, saying "We have to give him the crystal," she snapped. "If we hand him the Crystal, he'll usher the reign of his master, cursing Ninjago and every realm," Zane argued.
"But if we don't, when has he never made a good threat? Look at Lloyd. He's too weak to protect himself," Cole said, "So its either Save Ninjago from being cursed, or Lloyd's Life," Anna mumbled, "And we can only choose one,"
Jay groans "Ugh, either option totally stinks," he cursed "What do you think, Kai? What do we do?" He asked, and now everyone was staring at him.
"Looks like the decision is up to you, Kai,' Morro uttered "So choose," he hissed.
Minutes pass as Kai's brow furrows, it was Ninjago, or his best friend. Nervousness flashed over Anna's face, anxiousness on Jay and curiosity and anger over Cole's. "Stop stalling! Give me the Realm Crystal, or else!" Morro shouted,
"We're not stalling! We're thinking!" Kai shouted back, an the ninja huddle together. "He's totally right, I'm stalling. What are we gonna do?"
"Buy enough time for Lloyd to regain his energy back?" Jay offered. "Morro's patience is like a Graphene, one wrong move and Lloyd's dead," Anna said back, Zane gazed back a Morro and looks above him, seeing a big stalactites, he turns back to his team, "Anna, you could use your powers to cut off that rock above them," he said, "That might work, but its too dangerous, especially for Lloyd," Anna remarked, "Other than giving him the crystal, we don't really have any other choice," Jay huffed, Anna's frown turned into an angered expression, When Morro said "Two more minutes,"
"Ugh, this guy really chaps my hide," Cole hissed "I swear, when this is all over..." a brief moment of silence pass as the ninja felt the ground tremble slightly.
"Our powers. Now that Morro's out of Lloyd's body, they're starting to come back," Kai said, making a little flame in his palm,
"Yeah, but like Lloyd, they're weak. And we're in no position to fight back," Jay uttered, Anna saw a grin forming on Kai's face as he trailed off "Leave that to me. Be ready,"
"Time's up!" Morro exclaimed "You leave me no choice,"
Kai turns to face him as he secretly heats up the Crystal "Wait! We'll give you the Realm Crystal!" he tosses the crystal over to the ghost. Morro's expression quickly changed to shock and pain as his hand wraps around the crystal but drops it in the river below him, due to the heat implied on the gem.
"The Crystal! What have you done?!" Morro screamed, Lloyd stagger to his feet, struggling to stand, Morro kicked him right in the ribs, sending him falling into the river, Lloyd coughed out some water, barely managing to keep his head above it, "Lloyd!" They all cried
Kai, Cole and Anna, dashed after their green friend, Kai leaped over to a tile "I can't get to him. I can't swim!" he yelled
"You can't swim? I can't touch the water! I'm a Ghost, remember? You at least had a reflection! What happens to me?" He shouted, However Anna sped past the two and dived into the river.
In the water, it was dark, she could barely see a thing, her eyes scanned around for something green...Lloyd, Anna kicks her legs in the cold water, making a lot of efforts to reach him, Her lungs begged for a new set of air, but she ignored them, Anna wrapped Lloyd arm around her shoulder and swims upwards, toward the surface, "I got you!" She gasps in a reassuring tone, Her eyes widen, upon spotting a rock right ahead of them, "Dang it!". Anna holds Lloyd in a protective way, hitting her shoulder against the rock and the violent current of the water didn't make things easer. Lloyd choked, feeling to weak to move or breathe, "Hang on Lloyd," Anna whispered, "Guys! I need some help here!"
She yelled, as the river current carried her and Lloyd towards the waterfall, "You have to grab them, Before they both go over!" Zane ordered, he and Jay were already occupied with preventing Morro from causing more trouble than there already is. Kai lunged at the two ninja, grabbing Anna's obtainable hand and Cole grabbed on to Kai's feet, pulling them up.
Lloyd rested his head against Anna's body, unable to move, talk, but was now capable of breathing, his mouth was bleeding, his eye color was still that dark forest green, Morro had, his body had gone limb. Anna looks at the realm Crystal go over the edge, only to float back up and make it way into Morro's hands.
"Quick after him!" Cole called out, "No!" the other boys exclaim. "I'm sorry," Lloyd whispered, "You don't have to be," Anna responded.
Getting out of the tomb was easier than getting, there was an opening leading to the exit and all they had to do was climb a lot of stairs, Anna wrapped an arm around Lloyd's waist, and Kai supported him, by the shoulder, Lloyd blinked a few times as the sunset rays flash against his eyes, he then spoke, in a soft voice "You all sacrificed so much to save me," Kai chuckles a bit "Heh, I promised to look after you, didn't I?"
Lloyd's little smile turns into a small frown "But now Ninjago's gonna be cursed," he mumbled. Zane placed an arm on his shoulder "Yes, but now we have you,"
"And now our powers are back." Jay added. "As you get strong, so will we. And they haven't even seen us at full strength," Cole said encouragingly, "Don't worry, you'll get better, and once that happens we'll kick Morro's butt together," she said, holding his hand, Lloyd rested his head on her chest, crying tears of joy as she hugged him, after a moment the others added their hands to embrace him, Their Green Bean was home.
