PEDRI'S POV
The whole way to the gym where the practice was going to take place, we talked and laughed.
Being with her is just so easy.
She laughs at all my jokes, she's so playful.
She doesn't get offended when i insult her, she hits me back with an insult.
I've known her one day and feel like i won't ever get enough of her.
We pull up to the gym and she reached to grab her bag and i stop her.
" What's the whole point in bringing me if i can't be of any assistance" i say while grabbing her bag and getting out of the car.
She just laughs at me and gets out.
She guides me inside and she explains to me what will happen once the coach gets there.
" Okay so today isn't just practice, like it is but we are playing a game. This game doesn't count, it's more like for funnzies" she says as we sit on the side benches and she takes her crocs off and pulls her shoes out of the bag.
"for funnzies" i say while laughing.
" I know it's not a real word but, i like it" she says while smiling at me.
She continues to put her shoes on and her knee pads.
"Anyways, We will play and every so often we might pause and analyze the play, we are playing with our Team B which Junior Varsity. They are good, so it will be a good game but it will mostly to prepare us and find our weak spots and it also helps them improve." She says while stretching.
I just nod trying to remember everything she is saying but she's making it hard when she's stretching in front of me with those short and all i can see is her fat ass in my face.
She turns around to look at me and just laughs.
"Stop staring at me like that" she says.
I immediately turn red and look away.
I hear a whistle and Sophia looks  at what i'm assuming is the coach and runs to her while all the other girls surround the coach as well.
I get comfortable in my seat and watch them.
I hear her Coach give some instructions and the game plan, then i hear Sophia give a quick pep talk.
I watch her get on the court and her face completely changed. She looks focused, in the zone. I watch as the coach walks up a latter on the side of the court where the net is and i think she's the ref but im not entirely sure since this is nothing like soccer.
I look back at Sophia and watch her put  a finger behind her back, i can't make out what it means but her teammate nods and the whistle blows.
Sophia is in the middle front, i believe that's the person that sets up the ball so the other girls can spike.
Sophia's team serves the ball and it goes over with great force, the other team receives it and passes it over in three hits.
The girl in the middle back receives its and passes it to Sophia and she runs to it and sets up a ball high which lets her teammates run up and spike it straight down!
GOD DAMN
These girl are definitely not newbies. They know what they are doing.
i believe they are supposed to play 5 games, each games goes up to 25 points unless they tie, they have to win by 2 points.

The first game went by quick, Sophia's team won, they switched sides and they started the second game.
So far Sophia's team is only winning by one point, and the other team is catching them to forward.

19-18 now.

Sophia is down one point..

I watch as the serve goes over, one of the girls receive it and the ball goes high and Sophia yells MINE and i watch her run and she dives on the floor and she somehow saves the ball not without hitting her head hard against the benches but the ball goes up high and one of the girls spikes it to the other side. I immediately see Sophia get up and she runs back to her spot and set up another ball and she did it without looking.. a back set i guess? Her teammate spikes it and wins the point.

They all cheer and huddle together. I clap from my seat and yell "WOOO"

Sophia looks at me and smiles.

After a couple of points the coach stops the play and makes them run laps since she says they are playing sloppy.

Sophia doesn't run, she stands next to the coach and i see her nodding and the coach yelling at her to be more determined and to get it together.
