"HAOJI-AH, WHAT TOOK you so long? Where did you go?" Jimin asked, playfully punching Haojing in the shoulder. Haojing pursed her lips and rubbed the spot onher shoulder that she had just punched.
"... I was catching up with an old friend." She said quietly, hugging herself with her own arms as they walked in the snow. Their team walked around them as they were escorted to their van.
The crunches of snow were loud at each footstep. Ning carefully jogged up to Jimin and Haojing, wrapped in a big jacket and blanket. She smiled brightly, "Did you talk with Yuqi-ssi, unnie?"
Haojing smiled softly at the younger girl and nodded, "Yeah. We made up and properly exchanged numbers this time. Of course, it's been five years, but she seemed... Almost the same as last time i spoke with her." She paused to smile wider, "It was nice."
Jimin and Ning smiled at her. "Yuqi-ssi as in Woogi-ssi?" Jimin asked, piquing the interests of Aeri and Minjeong, now, too. The older chinese girl nodded with a smile.
As the girls enetered the van, the girls asked Haojing lots of questions about her friendship with Yuqi. Haojing happily told them about their times as teenagers and how hard they worked to become trainees; How hard Haojing had worked them both to the bone.
They arrived home and went to their respective dorms. The three older members shared one and the two youngest members shared one. Haojing, Jimin and Aeri sighed as they all plopped themselves onto their couch.
"It's only half six, right?" Haojing asks her members as she stares at the ceiling. Aeri answers, telling her that it is, indeed, half six pm. "Should we have a sleepover with Ning and Minjeong?" She asks, smirking at them as she sits up properly on the couch.
The other two members agree and they all take showers, changing into pyjamas before packing a small bag each. The trio walks through the halls of the dormitory, looking for their members dorm room.
When they finally find it, they knock on the door and hide around the corners of the walls. The door opens and Minjeong's head sticks out slightly. "Ah?" She looks around further like a deer in the headlights, "Who knocked on the door?"
As she's about to head back in, the three girls jump out at her. She screams then curses loudly and runs back into the room, closing the door behind her. The three girls who stand outside of the door look at eachother in silence with satisfied smiles on their faces.
They hear Minjeong exclaim and yell about something behind the door, making them laugh. Aeri knocks on the door and they wait properly this time. This time around, Ning opens the door, extremely cautious.
As she sees her members standing there, she opens the door wider, "Ah- It was the members, Minjeongie." She laughs loudly as she waits for them to come in.
Minjeong walks towards the door from the living room, "What?! Why did you do that? I almost had a heart attack, you know!" She pouts and waves her arms around in annoyance. Her childlike voice rang through the dorm, along with the laughter of her other four members.
They settled down and ordered food. A sleepover like this was something that they had started doing just before they debuted, so about two months ago. Haojing found it enjoyable, aswell as her members. It was chaotic at times, but still cozy nonetheless.
At this point, the girls were playing Truth or Dare upon Ning's request. "Haoji-unnie, truth or dare?" Ning smiles mischieviously as she waits for the older girl's answer.
Haojing smiles back, almost nervously while darting her eyes between the four pairs of eyes on her, as she answers, "Um, dare."
Ning jumps up from the floor in excitement, startling her older members. Jimin laughs as she holds her hand against her chest, "Ningie, you scared me."
"Hehe, sorry." She chuckles, embarrassed, as she sits back down on the floor again. "Okay, Haoji-unnie! I dare you to..." She drags it out as she drumrolls her hands against her lap, "Send Yuqi-ssi a cute selfie right now."
Haojing's eyes widen, along with her mouth, "Eh?!" Her face turns bright red and she covers it with her hands. She lets her head fall back onto the couch, "Why Yuqi?" She asks as she finally uncovers her red face.
Minjeong points at her face as she laughs loudly, "Look, her face is red!" The members tease her for a moment and then pass her her phone. Ning giggles cheekily, "Hehe. Come on, unnie! It's a dare. You have to do it."
As they all convince her to do it, Aeri lets in the last sentance, "It's no big deal. Just a cute selfie. It's not like you like her anyways, right?" She chuckles, then stops as the room turns silent.
As Jimin stops laughing aswell, noticing that the atmosphere suddenly changed, she blinked, "Eh?" She looked at Haojing's face, searching for an answer, "You like Yuqi-ssi, Haoji-ah? Seriously?"
Haojing looks at her members, who's eyes are now solely on her. She shakes her head and groans quietly into her hands, "No! I don't." She pauses, "Well, not anymore."
Minjeong's eyes widen as she smiles, pointing at her member once again. She laughs loudly, "No way! Haoji-unnie liked Yuqi-ssi?!" She started poking her member in the stomach.
Aeri laughed along, "You're all red, Haoji-ah, are you sure you don't still like her?" The teasing was endless throughout the night. Haojing was glad that her members weren't weird about it, but teased her instead.
"Oi, Haoji-ah." Jimin called as their laughter died out after a while. The members looked at their leader, waiting for whatever she was going to say. Jimin handed Haojing her phone and smirked, "Time to take a cute selfie!"
The members snickered, holding back their laugh and excitement, as they waited patiently for her to take a picture. Haojing huffed, though smiled through her frown. Her members' laughter was too contagious. She threw her hands in the air and let them flop onto her lap again, "Fine! But can i atleast do it without you guys watching?"
As Aeri nodded, the other three narrowed their eyes and looked at eachother for an agreement. Minjeong pursed her lips, still narrowing her eyes at the girl, "Fine, but you have one minute."
The four girls turn around, facing away from Haojing. She hears them snickering, specifically Minjeong and Ning. Well, louder, atleast.
Haojing quickly whips out her phone and checks her appearance. She fixes her hair and takes a while to check her makeup. She then takes a while to find a nice position that she's happy with. As she takes a picture, the loud shutter echoes through the silent room, allowing her members to burst our laughing.
Haojing drops her arms and deadpans at her members, who turn arouns to look at her, gasping for air. "Yah! Let me do the dare! I only took one picture. Turn back around and stop laughing!" She hurried them to turn around with the wave of her hands.
Eventually, she took a selfie that she was satisfied with and her members turn adound with smiles. After some bickering, Haojing finally allowed them to see it. She rolled her eyes as they teased. "Like Aeri said, it's not a big deal. I think you guys should just shush." She huffs and snatches her phone back.
Not even a minute later, Haojing's phone lights up, showing a message from Yuqi. Ning is the first to grab her phone, reading out the message, "She called you a cutie, Haoji-unnie." Ning winked at the now flustered girl.
