Y/N'S POV

It's been 2 months since the last time Leo and Donnie asked me questions about their powers. They have been avoiding me minus donnies training.

I feel as if being as honest as I was with them scared them away. I didn't mean to do that. So I decided to get them gifts. I'll get 2 gifts for Donnie, 2 gifts for Leo, 1 for raph, and one for mikey.

I told Splinter I was going out and left. I managed to make a cloaking broach and wore it to the stores I chose to visit. I had three stores to visit.

I first went to Best Buy and got Donnie a new TV and a silent keyboard, something he's wanted for a while. I then went to the comic book store and got Leo a new Jupiter Jim comic and figurine.

I then went to Micheal's. I found many things to get him and got him a large art set. Then I went to build a bear and made a giant stuffed turtle. I made sure to make it look as close to raph as possible.

I got a call from Leo. I picked up, and I heard worry in his voice.

L: Where are you!?
Y: I'm currently getting on my board. Why do you ask? Is something wrong?
L: No, we just got worried.
Y: Why? I had told master splinter I was going out.
L: he didn't tell us this at all.
Y: I'm sorry. Should I have told you or one of the other turtles?
L: Yeah, dad is barely listening to anything other than the TV usually.
Y: I see. I'll do that next time. Now I'm on my way back. See you soon.
L: You too, Y/N. Bye.
Y: Goodbye.

I soon returned to the lair and asked boys to go to their rooms and wait till I said to open their doors. The boys did so, clearly suspicious of what was going on.

I set their gifts in front of their doors and sit on the floor in the middle of the room that connects their rooms. I then said they could open their doors.

As they did, mikey was the first to smile widely. He grabbed the large art kit and then tossed it on his bed. He then ran over and hugged me. I endured the hug till he let go and started unpacking the kit.

Raph was next to smile a big toothy grin. He immediately grabbed the giant stuffed version of himself and hugged me with it in one arm. I endured and patted his arm until he let go and went back to his room.

Then it was Leo. Leos normal smirk turned to a real big smile as he saw the new comic and apparently very rare figurine. He then set them up in his room, then came and thanked me. He asked permission to hug me, and I said it was fine.

Finally, it was Donnie. He went from his calm exterior to a smiling little nerd. He got help from mikey to bring in the TV and set it up before coming to thank me. He thanked me by promising to make me something.

Y/N: You don't have to do that. I got you and leo two gifts for a reason and got the others gifts so they didn't feel left out.
Donnie: What's the reason?
Y/N: Well, I noticed that, besides our training sessions, you and leo had been avoiding me. And I thought it was because of what I told you 2 months ago.
Leo: It's not that at all. I just was trying to find a way to train with mikey more and train our powers.
Donnie: And I have been in my lab making things as I always do. Is it bothering you?
Y/N: Well, Don is the only person that I can speak to about my scientific interests without him getting annoyed, and Leo is the only one I can speak to about fictional interests of mine. And I honestly enjoy talking with you both.
Leo: I'm sorry I had no idea.
Donnie: I didn't know either. I'm so sorry.
Y/N: I sorry I never told you both.

We forgave each other and soon continued our lives. They started asking about my latest interests more often, and I'd tell them. But I noticed that Donnie, since I gave him the gifts, has been spending more time with me than usual.

I didn't mind this, though. We got the best of the group alone. I soon met april and sunita. They are very kind girls. Turns out they started dating a week ago. This made the turtles happy, and I congratulated them.
