Koba Yuuzuki-

[our main character with a very nonchalant attitude about all the wrong things.]

Birthday: February 13th (Aquarius)

Background: A former assassin's son who is only now getting to live a normal life. He grew up traveling with his father and learned quite a bit from him. With his parents being somewhat recently divorced, however, Koba has to choose between becoming an assassin like his father or living a normal life. For him to make an educated decision his father sent him away to see what "normal life" consists of. Now, he lives with his mother in Yunizaru. She is adamant about him choosing to live the life of a normal young adult, but he is used to a more fast-paced and crazy life, and that lifestyle always seems to gravitate towards him no matter where he goes. To give Koba a true taste of what regular adult life is like, his mother required him to get a job, so he currently works at the Yu-Zong Center, on the 34th floor, which houses a call center for various businesses.

Personality: Koba doesn't talk a whole lot, and he isn't the type to do most of the talking in any situation, but there's always something going on in his head. When he does talk though, he can be very blunt, dry, and occasionally rude to some. Since he didn't grow up around many people he could socialize with, he isn't that good at conducting himself the way the rest of the world has to.

His interests lie in politics, video games, people-watching, music, and art (though he isn't very good at art). He likes to observe things often and is typically a good judge of character. He often sees the truth in things without it being said, and he would like to make a change in the world but lacks the determination required to do so.

Aki Yomuri-

[A demon-human hybrid who has trouble containing his power]

Background: Aki Yomuri has always been an outcast amongst his peers, because of the negative stigma around demons and their kin throughout the city. He had quite a hard life growing up because he was an orphan for so long until he was adopted by a rich old woman named Grentilde. She was very wealthy but the mansion she lived in was empty and as old as her. Within that mansion, Aki would find himself in the library more often than not where old texts mentioned a time long past and told of a place outside of where they lived. Many of the texts were not legal to have but no one knew of them because Grentilde never invited any guests over, and she wasn't much of a talker either. After spending a portion of his life reading about the hidden truths of the world, he started to become somewhat insane- drowning himself in countless conspiracy theories and fears of the world around him. He later found out that Grentilde was a demon herself and a former advanced thief. When she knew her, final days were upon her, she taught Aki how she got her riches and left him with everything she'd ever owned. However, he was never taught to control his powers as a demon, and they often do as they please during his moments of lunacy. To keep them at bay, he often tries to remain calm and composed, by keeping as much light away as possible. Thus, he only wears black clothing, and you hardly ever will see him without his sunglasses, because the light terrifies him and makes him think of everything else, he fears as well.
