Looking around, I see why this place is popular. The neon lights and young-adult-targeted advertising make this place seem like something out of a video game. Everywhere I turn there's another shop to look at. From gaming stores, music, general shops, and food fronts- I think this place is going to take most of my money. Maybe it's a good thing I'll have my own source of income soon. The first paycheck is going to leave me just as fast as it enters my hands.

Surrounding me are tons of faces in my age group. I'll admit I'm surprised to see some of the girlier types around. Though this place seems to have everything, it doesn't seem like that demo would be interested in a place like this. Don't judge books by their covers, I guess.

Most of the friend groups look pretty diverse, and the background chatter sounds like a track inserted to make an area full of NPCs seem livelier. This is city life for ya, huh?

After taking in my surroundings, I notice a store in the (not too far off) distance with a Fuji standee out front. Fuji is a mythical warrior from the series "Legendary Ninja." He's not the ninja, but he is the main character. It's a popular video game franchise that's only just now getting an anime adaptation. On the standee, he's wearing a new set of armor, and the sword he's holding looks slightly different than how it did in the last game. I wouldn't mind a few posters of him up in my room, so I guess that's my first destination.

In most of the games, Fuji is tasked with defeating his mortal enemy- Arcrow, a ninja with skills unlike any other. The problem is, Arcrow typically has a whole evil plan of some sort, with all kinds of minions and sub-bosses working for him- so you never really get to fight him until the end of the game. Some would say it gets repetitive, but in my opinion, they switch things up quite nicely in every new installment.

On the way to the "Fuji Store", I pass by another shop. Smackdab on the window there's a risqué photo of Go-Go- the main character of an anime creatively titled (I think): "Magical Girl." I've personally never watched it, but it would be surprising to find anyone who doesn't know who Go-Go is. Especially since the main character has been doing all sorts of collaborations with a variety of brands. The most recent being Pearl's pleasant bean brew... She's everywhere, and even when she's not, there's always someone wearing her merchandise. The pins are very popular. I can't even count how many I've noticed since being here.
