After last night, you couldn't get the giddy feeling to leave.
Just the idea of moving in with William made butterflies fill your stomach and happiness to overcome you.
This morning, you called him to meet you that afternoon to talk over everything.
And now, you were waiting for him, leg bouncing and an excited feeling bubbling in your chest.
The topic of the visit was a huge and wonderful milestone in your relationship, and you were so happy that you were doing this together.
You couldn't wait to see him again, especially to discuss all of the finer details of coming together and living in the same home.
You had dressed up a little for him, so you were excited to see him, see his reaction, and talk over the idea of moving in together.
It was a welcome kind of overwhelming.
.
William didn't keep you waiting for long, but it did feel like it.
In about an hour and a half, you heard a knock of your apartment door and shot up.
You had a smile on your face as you opened the door and greeted the man with a hug, which he returned along with a small laugh. "It's good to see you too." He joked.
You pulled away from the hug with a grin and leaned up to kiss the lines of his smile.
After you pulled away, his smile softened from joking to loving, and he gently kissed you on the lips before guiding you both inside.
You sat together on the couch, sitting close to one another, and began to plan the move.
.
At around 5, the conversation slowed down, and soon, you two were just sitting together and reveling in the other's warmth.
William looked to the clock, and you followed his gaze. After realizing the time, you both looked at one another. "Since it's already late, how would you feel about turning this into a date?" He said, turning to you with a sly smile while wrapping his arm around your waist.
You blushed a little at his expression-he was so handsome-but quickly agreed with a soft smile, "Sure."
"Do you still have that wine that I bought you?" He asked, still smirking. You matched his expression with a similar one, standing up and eagerly waving him over and into the kitchen.
He stood up, rolling his eyes affectionately at your excitement.
"Hey! Don't bully me.." You pouted playfully before gently knocking shoulders with him. "We didn't get to share it last time." He raised an eyebrow.
"Five's the socially acceptable time to start drinking anyway." You huffed.
He stole a quick kiss. "When have we ever cared about social norms?" You shrugged.
"I don't know. I personally don't like daydrinkers." You said self assuredly as you pulled down two wine glasses from your cupboard.
He hummed. "Well, last I checked," He pulled up his sleeve to look at his watch. "The sun should just now be setting."
"We have perfect timing then." You said, grinning and elbowing him in the side with a wry smile.
.
The two of you had a few glasses, but now you were cuddled up on the couch, enjoying the other's warmth.
William had draped a blanket over the two of you, and you both settled in to cuddle.
You sat on the couch between his legs and laying against his chest, and he had his arms circled around your waist as you snuggled against each other.
