Fast forward to summer. We decided to take our New York honeymoon when we were both on summer break.
Married life was good. Yes, we have our fights and disagreements but making up is so much fun. Sarah and Caitlin got engaged. Kaylin and I are making progress with our friendship. We hang out more and she has a new boyfriend called Ryan. He's really sweet and funny. We have had a few double dates together.
Kai finally decided to be a decent human being and changed his plea to guilty. That meant none of us would have to testify in court.
Kai went to a psychiatric facility as it was more to do with Kais mental health than anything else.
I went to see him and he profusely apologised for what happened that day. His paranoia got the better of him and he thought everyone was out to get him. Especially Kaylin. I told him about what happened between her and Brendon.
"So you weren't completely paranoid."
Kai just nodded his head. "That doesn't really bring me much comfort though. I still acted wrong." Kai held my hand and looked at my ring finger. "Are you happy with Brendon?"
"I am very happy Kai." I replied.
"Good Liz. I am so happy for you. Do you, do you think.......?" Kai trailed off.
"If Kaylin and Caity will visit?" I filled in for him. Kai nodded. "Kai I can't answer for them both. I can ask them for you, then it's up to them."
Kai looked at me. "Thank you Liz, that's all I ask. A chance to try and put things right. Therapy is helping me immensely."
"Good. I am glad Kai."
When I returned home I messaged the group chat. I explained what had happened on the visit with Kai and what he had requested. Caitlin and Kaylin read the message but neither of them responded. Sarah was in Las Vegas for a couple of weeks, on vacation. She was interning at a Theatre in New York.
When Sarah was heading back to New York we were going to fly with her. I can't believe how grown up we all are. All now 19, married engaged and working at a theatre across the country. Kai was starting to heal and get the proper mental health support he needed.
In the end Kaylin and Caitlin decided to visit Kai. They went together.
They both said that they were glad that they did it. They managed to forgive Kai and promised to keep in touch, to see how his progress was coming along.

New York City is phenomenal. The heat though! It was very humid. Our hotel was beautiful. It had a glorious view of Central Park. We sometimes went out for dinner but the majority of our meals we ate at one of the hotels 3 restaurants.
We were total tourists too. We visited Liberty Island, the Empire State, Central Park. We went to the 9/11 memorial and paid our respects. We were here for 2 weeks and every second of it was filled. We even went to Broadway to see Wicked.
We had one day where we just chilled in the hotel room all day and ordered room service.
Brendon was wanting to go to FAO Schwarz. We did and he bought a ton of Lego and I got a ballerina Barbie. I wanted to feed my inner child that day.
We were in a clothes shop and I wanted some new dresses. A song by the sister group Haim came on. Brendon was in the men's section dancing around. I totally love this man. I started dancing too. He looked and saw me dancing and made his way over to me with a couple of shirts and some pants in his hands. We were jamming to the song and getting a few looks. I didn't care, this was a good song. Security walked over to us and observed us. Brendon was twirling me around and I fell into his arms. We both laughed.
"Shall we go pay?" He asked me.
I agreed and we went to the register with our purchases. Security followed us. Not sure what he was expecting us to do. We left the store and stood still on the sidewalk. We were deciding where to go next. We both spotted a music shop and made a beeline for it. As we entered I let out a wow as I looked. This store was like Dr Whos Tardis. Bigger on the inside. We both split up again. I went over to the keyboards. I turned one on and selected the sound I wanted. I started to play a song Brendon had wrote called Dying in LA.
I got a little bit of a crowd around me as I sang and played. As I finished I got applause. A few people asked what the song was called.
"Dying in LA, and it was written by Brendon Boyd Urie. " I replied.
Brendon was over the other side of the store looking at the different guitars. He looked up when I mentioned his name. Brendon gets terrible anxiety so I didn't want to draw unnecessary attention to him, so I just looked away as I didn't want anybody to guess who he was.
I stood up from the keyboard and the crowd dispersed. I walked over to my husband and kissed his cheek. "You ok?" I asked him.
Brendon smiled and said yes. He pulled me close to him and kissed my lips gently. I stroked his face.
"Let's go back to the hotel." Brendon said.
"But babe it's not even 1pm yet." I said.
Brendon winked at me and I realised what he was saying. We left the music store and got a cab back to the hotel.
As we stepped into the elevator, no sooner had the doors closed, Brendon pushed me up against the elevator wall and kissed me so passionately. His hands were in my hair. We both moaned softly as the kiss continued. Our tongues lightly brushed with each other. The elevator stopped and we broke apart as the door opened onto our floor. We walked up to our door. Brendon unlocked the door. I walked past him making sure that my hand brushed lightly against his crotch. He shivered at the light touch. I kissed his jaw line and walked into the hotel room. Brendon closed the door, making sure the do not disturb sign was on the outside. His shirt was off before the door even closed.
