Chapter 20

When I wake up I look around at my surroundings and realize I'm not in the hospital anymore. I see my bag sitting on a couch and question wether I am actually awake.. I sit up slowly because my body is aching and look around realizing that I'm in a hotel room. I standup stumbling a little because of my cast then grab a hold of the bedframe to keep me up. "Liam?" I hear the water running in the bathroom so I stumbled to the bathroom door and slowly opened it to find steam rushing out hot on my skin making me shiver. "L-Liam?" I barely manage to say as my whole body aches. Liam pulled back the shower curtain and refilling his wet hair and face, "Your up!" I nod, "I-I think so." He chuckles and closes the shower curtain back. I step inside and shut the door, "Where are we?" I hear him humming in the shower as I turn on the sinks hot water making his water cold, "God! Stop it Eleanor!! It's freezing!" I sigh and turn it off, "Answer my question." He groans, "Almost to Florida." I gasp, "Are you kidding me?!" I sling open the door yelling multiple profanities as I grab my bag and Liam runs out in a towel and stands beside me, "I'm sorry I just knew you wanted to come here!" I scoff, "Yeah when I had someone I loved. Not now." He looks down as I get short of breath and lean my head against the wall, "Please stay Eleanor.." I shake my head and walk to the door, "No. You don't want this to work so it won't." He groans and grabs my arm, "Please." I jerk my arm away and walk to the door and slam it on my way out. I stumble to the elevator and groan loudly then stumble back aggravated and knock on the door with one hand on my hip. Liam opens the door and smiles softly at me. I roll my eyes and put my hand out, "I need my charger." He looks down and nods opening the door for me to walk in. I walk over to the place where my bag was and grab my charger, "Thanks." I mumble as I walk past him and outside of the room. He grabs my arm and spins me around to face him and kisses me hard then whispers on my lips, "Please don't go.." I hug his waist and start crying unable to control myself. He rubs my back and whispers things in my ear trying to make me feel better which only makes it worse. I start sniffling and pull away from him, "S-Sorry." He shakes his head and rubs the back of his neck, "It's fine." I adjust my bag on my shoulder, "I'm gonna go." He nods looking down, "Ok.." I sigh, "Can I just ask you something before I go?" He nods and I look at him, "If you loved me why would you do this to me?" He starts to speak but closes his mouth looking down. I nod, "That's all I needed to know." I start walking towards the elevator and look back at him to see that he is looking at me sad. I shake my head and keep walking. I get to the elevator and push the button multiple times nervously and tap my foot waiting when I hear someone running up behind me, I turn to see who it is and get slammed up against the elevator door and kissed passionately and hard. I kiss back and drop my bag wrapping my arms around his neck as he presses his lips against mine harder. We move our lips in sync for a couple seconds before I slowly pull back him pulling my lip out a little and I giggle letting go of his neck and look down at my feet. He pulls my chin up to look at him, "I love you Eleanor." I laugh softly, "Do you?" He smiles softly and nods. I hug his waist tightly as he whispers in my ear, "Please don't leave." I take a deep breath and whisper back, "I thought you didn't want this.." He sighs and holds me closer, "I don't want to play. I want to be in a long term relationship. I want to be with you forever.. And I know you want to be with me too. So let's just forget about all the stupid shit I said before and be together." I tackle hug him wrapping my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck then kiss him, "I love you, asshole." He laughs, "I love you too, I probably deserved that btw." I nod and giggle, "You did," He nods, "What now?"
