Janis was on her way home in her mother's car after a long night at Damian's place. They had watched the entire Scream Franchise, complaining about the Scream VII news. While Damian was thirsting over Ghostface, Janis was busy staring at the new main girl, Samantha Carpenter.

As she got lost in her thoughts, she drove past a house she knew from her childhood. Gretchen's house. Seems like they had another one of their stupid parties that she never got invited too. Well neither did Damian, so they promised to not set foot there without the other.

Janis just kept driving, rolling her eyes at the thought of the plastics being the center of attention in every party. That was until she noticed a blonde girl stumbling and walking on the sidewalk, clearly intoxicated. She drove past her, recognizing Regina. The blonde girl was struggling to walk straight, almost falling off the sidewalk multiple times, eventually landing on the road. When Janis caught that in the rear view mirror, she stopped the car and pulled over.

Janis quickly got out and rushed up to Regina, kneeling down next to her.

-Regina? Are you okay?, asked Janis with a frown.

Regina looked up and pouted, shaking her head.

-I'm gonna help you out, okay?, continued Janis as she placed her hands under Regina's arms.

Regina nodded and let Janis help her up, back on her feet. She walked her back to the sidewalk, letting her lean on her. That's when Janis noticed that Regina's dress was soaking wet. She quickly took her jacket off, wrapping it around Regina's shoulders.

-Were you gonna walk home?, asked Janis with a light chuckle, mocking Regina.

Regina quickly turned her head and glared at her.

-Don't give me that look. I was gonna suggest driving you home but if you don't want it, I can just let you stranded here like an abandoned puppy., scoffed Janis.

-No- no. Don't., replied Regina as she grabbed Janis' wrist.

Janis raised an eyebrow, looking back at the blonde girl.

-So you're gonna let me drive you home?, asked Janis, the surprise in her voice being evident.

-Don't flatter yourself., replied Regina with a frown.

-The Queen B is asking me for help, hm? What an honor., said Janis sarcastically.

Regina took her hand back and shook her head.

-Forget it., grumbled Regina as she looked away from Janis.

-Oh come on, since when can you not take the bickering?, chuckled Janis with a light smile.

-I'm cold. I'm drunk. I'm fucking done with life and you're over here mocking me. I really don't need this right now., replied the blonde girl as she tried to walk away from Janis.

Janis raised her eyebrows, not having expected such a reaction out of her ex best friend. She wrapped her arm around Regina's waist, not letting her walk away. This movement made Regina turn her head to look at Janis.

-I'll take you home. No more unnecessary jokes or remarks. Okay?, said Janis with a soft tone.

Regina didn't reply but simple nodded, sighing a little as she did. Janis walked her to her parked car, opening the passenger's door for her and helping her inside. She even put the seatbelt on for Regina, even though they both knew Regina could have done it herself. Janis then got in the car as well, driving off. She didn't need any directions from Regina. Janis had spent a big part of her early childhood with Regina at her house. Countless of sleepovers and memories that she had desperately tried to forget.
