Aliyah's POV
The palace was rowdy, everyone was in a rush to get to where they needed to be quickly, the chefs were running around with trays, the guards were moving from post to post, maids were scurrying around the hallways trying to get everything they needed to prep the guests for today. Today is the wedding day, yayyy!!!

I was in my room with Aunt Margaret getting ready, my outfit was a baby blue floor length gown, it was fitted around the bust and flowed freely from the waist down, it has full sleeves. The gown was beautiful, I decided to not style my hair and let it fall freely. Aunt Margaret demanded I get my makeup done, I rejected, but she insisted.
I couldn't help but think about Anthony, I hadn't seen him since the conversation we had, and I hadn't seen Louis and Sebastian since Forever, after my conversation with Anthony, I didn't even know what to think anymore, I didn't know if they were avoiding me or if they were just really busy, did they really like me or they were just pretending? I've been having thoughts like this since the conversation with Anthony.

"All done Liyah, you look absolutely stunning."
"Thank you Aunt Margaret, but the goal is to look pretty and fit in not look absolutely stunning and stand out. I might not like the bride but I don't want to draw any attention to myself. She should be the center of attention." Aunt Margaret gave a light laugh,
"Oh Aliyah, no one can upstage the bride. It's her big day, she is definitely going to be the center of attention no matter what and no matter what you do Aliyah, you will always stand out. You weren't born to fit in and look neutral. Enough of that now, time to go."

"Aren't you attending Aunt Margaret?"
"Oh I am my darling, but I need to get myself ready first."

I nodded and started going to the ballroom where the event was to take place. The room was decorated beautifully, the chandelier hanging from the ceiling looks like it had been polished a thousand times, the golden curtains matched the decorations beautifully and the candles seemed to burn brighter than ever. I looked at the guests and everyone definitely came in their best outfits, there were different colours everywhere, it reminded me of a Garden. I took my seat and decided to wait.

The doors opened and James walked in, he had this proud look on his face, a look that seemed to say, no one is on my level anymore, it might just be me but that's how it seemed, we made eye contact and the proud look on his face changed to a smirk, as usual I did nothing but stare blankly at him. He went to stand at the front. I looked around hoping to find Louis or Sebastian, someone to talk to at least but I found no one.

"Aliyah, you look stunning."
"Ah William, you flatter me. You don't look too bad yourself."
"I never look bad Liyah."
"Indeed William, indeed."

I looked behind him and I noticed he was with Jacob and Zach standing and talking to each other. I looked around for Anthony but I didn't see him anywhere.

"Hello Prince Jacob and Hello to you too Prince Zach."
"Hello Aliyah. You know it's not fair if you call William by his name without his title and then call us with our title." Jacob said with a little frown on his face,
"Yes, it makes it sound like we're kind of above you in some kind of way." Zach Concurred,
"My apologies, I will try to address both of you without your titles."
They both smiled after hearing what I said, I couldn't help but look around hoping to catch a glimpse of Anthony somewhere.

I sighed, coming to terms with the fact that Anthony wasn't going to be around for the wedding, I was about asking William why he wasn't here when I made eye contact with Sebastian.
I had almost completely forgotten about him, as the thoughts of Anthony kept on swirling around in my mind. Sebastian had a look in his eyes, it seemed like a mixture of sadness, frustration and anger? I couldn't decipher which emotion it was, so I just looked away.
