Aliyah's POV
I was in a surprisingly pleasant mood when I woke up today, I wanted to do some gardening but the weather had other plans for me as it was raining cats and dogs outside, it saddened me but I wasn't going to let that spoil my day. I did my regular morning routine and decided to read my mother's diary.

It's been a long time since I wrote something down, motherhood isn't as easy as I thought it would be, little Aliyah can be a handful sometimes. I honestly thought I wouldn't write anything anymore but something happened today and I have no clue who I could possibly tell this to.

A few weeks ago, I helped an injured man I saw when I went to get some things from the market. He was severely injured and when I tried getting someone to look at his wounds and treat him, he refused, I did what I could to help him, I managed to treat a few of his wounds and gave him some food. I would've loved to stay and convince him to allow me to look for someone to look at his wounds but I had a family waiting for me. I went back there the next day to see how he was but I couldn't find him, I searched around but I couldn't find him anywhere, I moved on and forgot about it completely.

There was a knock on the door, I wasn't expecting anyone but I answered the door nonetheless, I saw him standing there and not too far off were a group of guards, I could tell they weren't the royal guards but they still scared me regardless. He looked much better than I left him.

Flashback
"Hello, how can I help you sir?" I asked with a hint of uncertainty,
"Hi, you saved my life a few days ago, I'm here to thank you." He replied,
"Oh no sir, that's not necessary. I did nothing special."
"Regardless of what you say, I'm not leaving with the gifts I got."
"Sir-"
"Harrison."
"Pardon?"
"My name. It's not sir, it's Harrison."
"Oh, Harrison thank you for your kindness but I can't accept these gifts, even If you wish to repay me, you can give these gifts to those who need them." He was about to reply when Aliyah's cry stopped him, I excused myself and went to pick her up,

"You have a child?" He asked, his face a mixture of what seemed to be shock, confusion and hurt,
"Yes her name is Aliyah, she's 3."
"Does she have a father?" He asked and I looked at him weird,
"Yes she does, my husband is her father."
"You're married." He stated seeming disappointed, I was starting to feel uncomfortable,
"Is there anything else I can help you with?"
"Uh no, I guess not. I'll come back again very soon."

I looked the doors immediately he left, I had the feeling that something bad was going to happen but I didn't know what exactly.

Flashback over
I regret not telling Frederick when he came back, I didn't want to bother him but I fear keeping it to myself wasn't the best decision.

I was confused, my mother seemed so worried, why did she keep this from my father? I decided to read another entry to hopefully get more information about this man.

Oh dear! I have made a huge mistake, it's been 3 weeks since Harrison came to our home to reward me for saving his life but ever since then I have seen the guards he came with everywhere, at first I thought it was just my imagination, I thought I was dreaming but no, I have not because they've also been gollowing Frederick around. I fear for Aliyah's life, I don't know what to do, I can't leave her with Marie because they're watching us, they will definitely talk Marie too.

He has also been leaving letters at our door and the letters and kind of disturbing honestly,

Letter 1
Hello Rose, it's only been 3 days since I visited but I couldn't help but write this letter. I have tried getting you out of my mind, but I can't, I fear I have developed feelings for you, I know you're married and have a child but I just had to tell you how I feel. I would love to meet you tomorrow at the house in the west.

I don't know what he was expecting honestly, if he was trying to make me feel comfortable then he failed because this only made me more scared.

Letter 2
Dear Rose,
I never thought I’d find myself writing a letter like this, but there are things in my heart that I can no longer keep hidden. I’ve spent countless nights wrestling with these emotions, trying to make sense of how it happened, but the truth is: I’ve fallen in love with you, deeply.
From the moment we met, there was something about you, something I couldn’t ignore. Even when I could barely keep my eyes open, your beauty enthralled me deeply,I found myself thinking of you more and more, and with each passing day, my feelings only grow stronger. I tried to push them aside, But it’s so much more than that. You’ve touched a part of me I thought was long buried, and now I can’t imagine my life without you in it.
But there’s something that weighs heavily on me, something I must confess. I am married. My wife and I share a history, a bond formed over years, but in recent times, that bond has weakened. We’ve grown distant, living more like companions than lovers. I never intended to find someone else, and I never expected to feel this way again…until you came into my life. I can’t pretend that my marriage doesn’t exist, and I won’t lie to you about it, but whatever it is you want me to do Rose, I promise you I will, if it is your wish for me to keep her out, I will. I promise to accept your daughter as mine Rose. All I ask is that you love me as much as I love you
With all my love,
Harrison

I don't know what to do, I fear for my life and the life of my family. I wish I told Fredrick about this sooner, our daughter is growing, my sweet baby doesn't deserve to grow in constant fear and worry of what could happen.

"Your highness." I heard a maid call from behind the door,
"Who is it?" I asked, my voice cracking a little bit,
"It is I, Winniefred. The one who the Prince assigned to you." I recognized her, she was the one Anthony assigned to keep me company,
"You may come in."
"Your highness, the Prince has sent for you."
"What for?"
"I'm afraid I don't know." She replied bowing her head, I sighed, dressed up and went down to see him.

I didn't expect to see a huge crowd of people in the palace. It was like the whole of Greenfield had come to see their King but these people weren't from Greenfield. They all looked very different compared to the people of Greenfield, some of them had really dark skin that seemed to glow under the sunlight. I was amazed, I had never come in contact with anyone who looked so different, I felt something deep within me, these people were so different, so Unique, something I've always longed to be.

"Aliyah, I'm glad you're here." I heard Anthony say,
"We have guest."
"That I can see Anthony. Where are they from?"
"Uhh well, you know how Arenda, Greenfield and the other kingdoms are together but separate?" He asked and I looked at him confused,
"I don't think I understand you Anthony." Just as he was about to speak, someone from the Crowd spoke,
"Your highness do you mind if I explain to her highness?" He asked Anthony,
"No, no go ahead."

"Greetings your highness. We have traveled from Africa, we are all from various kingdoms, but we are here on behalf of our rulers who heard of your marriage."
"Oh, thank you. I really appreciate that." I replied trying to be Joyful and Happy but the reminder that I was getting married dampened my spirits.

I stood there watched and listened as Anthony spoke to them. He seemed really excited to meet them, the sound of his laughter said it all. I looked at him, he looked so care free, innocent and kind, if only this was the Anthony I met first.
