Jungkook woke up from his unconscious state still feeling icky, but as he found himself back in the Royal Chamber, he sat up immediately in anger. "Who brought me here?" he demanded.

"I did," a deep voice responded.

Jungkook didn't speak for a few minutes, his emotions swirling within him. Finally, he questioned Taehyung, "Why? What's the point of bringing me back here when you could leave me with the other concubines?" His voice was laced with the pain and betrayal he had been feeling since that day.

"You are not one of the concubines anymore, darling. You are my consort; your place is right here in the Royal Chambers," Taehyung declared firmly.

Jungkook scoffed at that. "Then what about Princess Delilah? You and she have been far too close lately. You insulted me in front of a woman who is trying to steal my husband."

Jungkook coughed before continuing, his voice weak from fever. "As of right now, Your Highness, I want to be alone."

Taehyung grabbed Jungkook's hand, but Jungkook yanked it away from his hold.

"You may be the King, Your Highness, and I might be your consort—not from a noble family—but I still have self-respect. So, if you are impressed by Princess Delilah, go ahead and marry her and let me go."

"Let you go? So I was right to doubt you—there is something between you and that foreign Alpha," Taehyung retorted, his voice laced with accusation.

Jungkook glared at him. "There you go again, accusing me. Am I truly worthy of a royal title and chamber when you lack even the slightest faith in my loyalty? I will repeat it again: Henry, Jimin, and I are childhood friends."

Taehyung was about to respond, but Jungkook began coughing and sweating profusely.

"We will discuss this later. You need rest. I will summon the physician," Taehyung said, concern replacing his anger.

He left the chamber and immediately instructed Ji-hun to bring the physician.

In another chamber, Princess Delilah's voice rang out, dripping with condescension.

"Didn't I tell you? No matter how pretty and kind you are, status means everything in royalty. If your dear Jungkook were from a noble family, Tae would handle the matter very differently," she mocked, her words cutting deep as she addressed Jimin.

Jimin smiled in return, his expression calm yet defiant.

"Dearest Princess, you seem to forget that to become a Queen, one must seek the approval of the people and the advisors. Currently, you have no favors," he remarked, his tone measured and confident.

He paused, allowing his words to sink in before continuing, "You may fool others, but I possess proof against you. It was you who orchestrated the attack on the former King."

Princess Delilah's face paled, her composure slipping for a moment. "What nonsense are you speaking of?" she snapped, attempting to regain control.

Jimin stepped forward, holding a bundle of documents and ledgers. "These letters, coded and signed with your alias, detail the plan for the attack. This ledger from the apothecary in Westeria confirms the purchase of the poison used on the arrow. Witnesses saw you near the archery range moments before the attack, contradicting your alibi. And here, the mercenary you hired has confessed, detailing your role in this plot."

He laid the documents on the table before him, his eyes locking onto hers. "Your ambition to marry King Taehyung and secure the throne through deceit and murder ends here. The people and the advisors will never support a Queen with blood on her hands."

The silence that followed was heavy with tension, as the weight of Jimin's evidence crushed the last vestiges of Princess Delilah's denials.

Princess Delilah spoke with a slight stutter in her voice. "I can easily make you look like a liar. No one will believe you—a commoner—over a princess."

Jimin maintained his composure, a serene smile playing on his lips. "Dearest Princess, I am no longer a commoner but a royal consort, and my words carry weight. Moreover, these documents and testimonies speak for themselves. Truth has a way of emerging, no matter how deeply it is buried."

Delilah's eyes darted to the incriminating evidence laid before her, the color draining from her face.

Jimin continued, his voice unwavering, "The people and the advisors will see the truth, and justice will prevail. Your schemes have no place in this court."

The chamber fell into a tense silence, the gravity of Jimin's words and the weight of the evidence pressing down on Princess Delilah.
