"I have gathered the proofs against Princess Delilah, but my King, I don't understand why breaking Jungkook's heart is necessary," Jimin questioned, worry evident in his eyes for his best friend and co-wife.
Taehyung took Jimin's wrist in his, placing a soft peck on it. "We have to make Delilah think I am with her. Let her believe she has won for now."
"I can't bear to see Jungkook so broken, even if it's part of the plan to expose the Princess." After a minute of silence, Jimin spoke again, his voice softer, "But please, don't be angry at Jungkook. He could never betray you. Henry really was just our friend. I don't understand why he claimed to be Jungkook's fiancé."
Taehyung smiled gently. "Do you truly think I don't trust Jungkook? Accusing him of being involved was never part of the plan."
Jimin's eyes widened in surprise. "Then why did you..."
Taehyung sighed, his expression turning serious. "Princess Delilah's schemes are more intricate than we anticipated. She needed to believe she had sown discord between us. Only then would she make her move and reveal herself. I had to play along, even if it meant hurting Jungkook."
Jimin nodded slowly, understanding the gravity of the situation. "But now we have the evidence. Can we not end this charade?"
"We will, Jimin. But first, we must ensure Jungkook's safety and well-being. His health has been deteriorating because of this stress," Taehyung replied, his concern evident.
Meanwhile, in Jungkook's chamber, he continued to cough due to the fever. The physician had just completed his examination.
The physician turned to Ji-hun and said, "Everything looks good. Just ensure the consort does not take any stress, as it is not good for the baby."
Ji-hun nodded and escorted the physician out of the chamber. Upon his return, he was met with Jungkook's accusing eyes. "Wha-t was the phy-sician saying? Baby? Am I really...?"
Ji-hun smiled warmly. "You are pregnant with His Majesty's child, but only Hyosu and I know. We have not informed His Highness yet."
Jungkook's hand instinctively went to his stomach, his eyes wide with a mixture of surprise and emotion.

I know the chapters are a bit short lately but I will try to publish longer chapters. As of right now if I focused on how short/long the chapter is. It will take me a long time to publish it. As you may have known we recently moved to our new house, so as someone who is fluent in English I am the only one who has to deal with everything.
