Piano Lesson and a Walk

-Pcifica's Pov-

After teasing Gideon for a little bit I went into my room to get changed and went to the gift shop. I saw a boy glueing together animal parts to create a new attraction. He noticed me and asked:"Hi, I'm Robbie and you are?","I'm Pacifica, Gideon's cousin." I answered. "Ah yes, Gideon told me about you." He said and then asked:"Is there anything I can do for you?","Do you know where my uncle Bud is?" I asked. "He is giving a tour through the museum." He answered. I said:"Oh okay, Bud asked me to help out here and I wanted to know what I should do.","If you wanna help there is a bunch of merchandise that needs to be put in shelves over there." He said and pointed at some boxes that were standing in the middle of the shop. 'He's actually really cute, no wonder Gideon is blushing because of him.' I thought while unpacking some Mystery Shack snow balls.

After several hours uncle Bud walked in said:"Alright you two can take a break now.", I looked at my phone and saw it was already 1 pm. Robbie asked:"Hey I was gonna eat something at Greasy's Diner. You wanna come with me?","Yeah, why not?" I said. "Great, let's go then." He said while grabbing a black biker jacket and a helmet. He tossed it to me and I asked:"You have a bike?","Yeah. He replied. 'Now look at that, cute and a bike.' I thought as we went outside.

-Mabel's Pov-

I left Dipping Sauce's room and went downstairs to practice on the piano. While playing I read Pacifica's mind. 'Now look at that, cute and a bike.' I messed up because of that thought. She was focused on this Robbie, she was supposed to be focused on me. I checked my phone but no message from her. I stood up and walked up and down thinking on what I could do next. I got angry and a turquoise flame appeared in my right hand. I breathed heavily to calm myself down. I stopped reading her mind.

-Pacifica's Pov-

We got on his bike and I held on to him. It was a rather quick drive, quiker than I may have liked. We got inside and sat down. We looked at the menu and Robbie asked:"You know what you wanna eat?","I'm not sure." I answered. Robbie then said:"Pick anything you like, I'll pay.",'And a gentleman.' I thought at first and then I thought:'You're not falling for him aren't you?'. This always happened to me, someone is nice and/or looks good and I fall for him or her. I shook my head and just said:"Thank you, that's really nice from you.","No problem, but don't get used to it." Robbie said and chuckled. We ordered and then talked for a bit until our food arrived. We ate, Robbie paid and we drove back to the Shack.

The afternoon was rather quiet. I pulled my phone out and decided to text Mabel.

●Pacifica: Hi Mabel😀

○Mabel: Hi Pacifica😁
○Mabel: What are you doing?

●Pacifica: Sitting around in the gift shop of my uncle and being bored😵‍💫

○Mabel: Oh...sounds like a lot of fun🤣

●Pacifica: 😂

○Mabel: How about you come over tomorrow and I give you that piano lesson?

●Pacifica: Yeah, sure🙂

○Mabel: Great!😊 See you tomorrow. Around 2 pm?

●Pacifica: 2 pm would be perfect. See you then😃👋🏻

○Mabel: Okay, bye🤗

I put the phone back in my pocket and smiled. The rest of the day went by quickly. I was lying awake in bed and looked at the ceiling. I was so excited to meet Mabel again, it took a while but eventually I was finally able to sleep.

I woke up, it was a dreamless night this time. I stood up and went to the bathroom. After that I was thinking about what to wear when I'm going to Mabel. I settled for torn jeans, a white t-shirt and a pink jacket. I went downstairs to eat breakfast. I asked:"Hey uncle Bud, would be okay if I only half a day? I wanted to meet my new friend.","Oh you don't need to work at all anymore. I hired a new worker so you and Gideon can have more free time." Uncle Bud answered. "That's really nice uncle Bud, thank you." I said while Gideon seemed a bit upset that he won't be working with Robbie anymore. "No problem, I was thinking about hiring someone anyways." Bud said. "So what's his name? Gideon asked and Bud answered:"Deuce.","That's a strange name." Gideon said. "I actually think that is a nice name." Aunt Susan said. After the breakfast I texted Mabel.

●Pacifica: Morning, I don't need to work today. I could come earlier if you don't mind🙂

○Mabel: Not at all, what time do you wanna come over?

●Pacifica: I dunno, maybe 12 pm?🤔

○Mabel: Splendid!😊 See you then, bye

●Pacifica: Bye😁👋🏻

I put my phone in my pocket again and went to my room. I decided to draw something. I drew Mabel. After I was done I looked at it. 'She is so pretty and kind.' I thought, there was just something that drew me to her, almost like she hypnotized me. I blushed again and took a photo of the drawing.

I decided to go her then. After all, I can't use the golf cart and it was a long way to the mansion of the Pines family. I walked through the town and it really barely changed since I the last time I was here. I breathed through my nose, I really enjoyed the quiet town. It was so peaceful. I eventually arrived at mansion and knocked at giant wooden door. A young man opened the door. He had a black eye patch, blue hair and a blue eye. He wore a blue suit, a black shirt and black shoes. He asked:"Greetings, how can I help you?","Uhm, Mabel invited me to come over." I answered. The man then said:"Ah yes, you must be Mrs. Northwest. Mrs. Pines told me about you, please come in.", I walked in and the man closed the door behind me. He lead me to Mabel, I already heard her playing piano.

It sounded absolutly beautiful. We walked into the room and there she sat. With a slight smile she looked down at the keyboard. She wore a blue dress and again black heels. Mabel looked and saw me, her smile became bigger. She stopped playing and said:"Pacifica, come and sit down next to me.","okay." I said and walked over to her. I sat down next to her. Mabel said:"That's it Bill, you can go now.","Yes, Mrs. Pines.", and then Bill walked out of the room. For the next hour Mabel taught me how to play piano and let's say it I wasn't great.

-Mabel's Pov-

I noticed that Pacifica got a little upset and I tried to cheer her up a bit. I said:"Oh don't frown dear, it took me years to get so good. Is there anything else you might wanna do?","Well maybe go for a walk?" Pacifica asked. "Sure, that sounds great." I answered and we went outside. As we were walking I asked:"Sooo, you got a boyfriend?","No, I had some crushes here and there but never a real relationship. Got my heart broken by said crushes." Pacifica asked and looked down. I chuckled and said:"Well, you're not the only one that got her heart broken multiple times.", Pacifica looked at me shocked and asked:"Really? But you're like the most popular girl here. I mean that's not everything that matters. You are pretty and you are so kind, you helped me in the mall even tho you had no reason to. You have a great personality.", she looked away and blushed again. "Thank you, really. The thing just is that we don't get to decide who we fall in love with or not." I said, I put my hand on Pacifica's shoulder and continued:"But my point is that you are not alone, I will be there for you.", Pacifica looked at me once again and said:"Thank you so much.", and she hugged me. I hugged her back and said:"No problem, that's what friends are there for.","Yeah...friends.", she said slightly disappionted and we let go of eachother. "What's wrong?" I asked and Pacifica answered:"Oh...nothing, everything is fine.","Are you sure? You can talk about it with me." I said. Pacifica was thinking for a couple of seconds and said:"No, everything's okay.","If you say so." I said. I used my amulet to read her mind once agian. Pacifica was thinking:'What is going on with me?','Why do I feel so drawn to Mabel?','Do I develop a crush on her?', and like a 100 more thoughts, I almost got a headache. I immediately stopped reading her mind. "Are you okay?" Pacifica asked and I answered:"Oh yeah, I'm fine."...
