I opened the envelope and pulled the letter out. I unfolded the letter to read it. It said:

Dear Pacifica,

I just want to have the chance to explain myself, to get things right between us. I can imagine that you hate me, atleast I hate myself for what I did to you. You didn't deserve to be treated that way and what we had...it means so much to me, it really does.

If you want to give me the chance to explain myself then meet me at the park tomorrow at 12 PM. If not then you can just throw away the letter and I won't try to contact you ever again.

My hands were shaking, I let the letter fall to the floor. I had to process this for a moment. Gideon walked into the room and asked:"Hey Pacif-are you okay?","Mabel sent me a letter." I answered. "Oh...what did she wrote?" he then asked. I picked the letter up and handed it to him. He took it and read it, he then looked up to me. I asked:"What do you think?","Well, I'm not sure. It could be genuine, it could be a lie." Gideon answered. He then asked:"What do you think? And what you are going to do?","Well, I saw her today at the lake. I can't avoid her all summer. I need to something about it and honestly, I don't want to things end between us like that. I still love her." I answered. Gideon hugged me and said:"Hey, whatever you do I will support you.", he let go of me and I said:"Thank you.", Gideon and I then decided to play video games for the rest of the day.

In the night I laid awake in bed, I was too excited about tomorrow. I was still questioning whether Mabel really felt bad about what she did. Maybe she was tricked by Dipper aswell, she seemed shocked by his appearance that evening after all. I sneaked out of the house and climbed on the roof to look at the stars. 'Man, I wish I would have been able to bring Mabel up her.' I thought and slightly blushed. I looked then at the letter which I brought with me and said to myself:"I will...day.", I had no idea where this confidence came from, but it felt great. I went back inside and was finally able to sleep. I woke up the next morning and sat up. I yawned, stood up and went to the bathroom and got dressed. I went downstairs and ate breakfast. I was still confident, nothing would stop me from getting together with Mabel.

I made my way to the park just in time. There she was, sitting on a bench. My legs were shaking, but that wouldn't stop me from going to her. I walked over to Mabel and said:"Hey...", Mabel turned around and stood up, she said:"Hi, you actually came.", her face was lighting up a bit. She asked:"You wanna walk a bit while I explain everything?", I nodded and we started to walk. I inhaled deeply and asked:"So, why did you do all of this?","Well, several years ago my parents died. While I was able to process it Dipper wasn't. He was depressive at first and we moved to our great uncle and found this book and these amulets...it got worse. A darkness was rising in him. The way he is now has nothing to do with the cheerful boy that he once was." Mabel said and I asked:"What has the book from Gideon to do with that?","A demon from another reality appeared in our dreams. The versions of us from his reality apparently destroyed him and he is seeking revenge. He promised us to bring our parents back if we retrieve all three journals and open a gateway or portal to his reality.", I just looked at her and said nothing, I had to process all of this. She continued:"Yes, it's true. It was my idea to befriend you in order to get the journal from Gideon, but it was only my intention in the beginning. As everything progressed I realized that I genuinly liked you. You made me feel things I never felt in my entire life. It felt like I was truely alive for the first time in my life.","I-I did?" I asked and Mabel asked me:"Yes, remember when I wanted to tell you something whenconfessed your love to me that evening?", I blushed and looked away. I answered:"Yes, I do.","In that moment I wanted to confess to you my feelings, I love you Pacifica." Mabel said and blushed now aswell. "I also have found a way to prove to you that I don't lie. I will steel the books from Dipper and also the amulets, I will destroy all of it." Mabel said and I asked:"You really wanna give up the chance to have your parents back just for me?","Not just for you, for us." she answered. "I need to go now, meet me tomorrow here at the same time like today. I will bring everything and destroy it right in front of you so you can see for yourself that I'm not a lair." she said and wanted to go but I held onto her. As she turned around I kissed her on the lips, after that I said:"Let's end this, together.","Yes, together." She responded and then kissed me. We parted ways and I walked back to the Shack.

Well, looks like we reached the end now. The next chapter will be the final one, I hope you liked this chapter. Random thought: There have been easter eggs that connect Gravity Falls and Rick and Morty. In the latter show it's explained that there infinite dimensions. If that also counts for Gravity Falls then all AUs could be considered canaon. What do you guys think?
