Detective Lucy Chen just transfered to the Los Angeles Police Department, Mid Wilshire station.
The reason she transferred was because her ex-boyfriend, Caleb.
He had been abusive towards her, but that was not all there was.
After she found out that Caleb was a follower of Rosalind Dyer and kidnapped her to suffocate in a barrel, he was nowhere to be found. She decided to move, hoping to forget the tragedy.
LUCY POV:
As I stepped out of my car to head into the station, I bumped into a fit and tall looking guy. "Look where you're going boot!" He said, assuming I had just finished the academy. "Or maybe you should look up from that phone." I said annoyed, already pissed of by his attitude. "Watch what you say boot, you better pray I'm not your training officer because I'll make your life a living hell" before I had the chance to say anything a woman appeared.
"And you must be Lucy Chen, I am the Commanding Officer of the Mid-Wilshire Division" she interrupted the conversation "Nice to meet you, ma'am" I answered. "How about we have a talk in my office" she said as I followed her upstairs, leaving him outside.
No one's POV:
Before Tim could enter the station, he was stopped by Angela Lopez. As he was talking about what just happened, hoping that woman would become his boot so he could show her the hard way how things work around here. Angela reminded him that there would be a detective transferring today and new rookies. Neither of them considered that could have been her.
