Asgore: Dum dee dum. . .

Asgore: Oh? Is someone there?

Sans: it's just me, your majesty.

Asgore: Sans, what brings you in this case? Have a seat.

Sans sits at a table with Asgore.

Asgore: I didn't expect you come so soon. So I brought you some tea.

Asgore: I know you prefer coffee but I hope it's fine for the inconvenience.

Sans: it's fine, boss. i'll take tea.

Sans sips the tea from the teacup.

Sans: so. . . only one soul, huh?

Asgore: You know?

Sans: i've heard the news, especially from that sheriff.

Sans: are you ready, king?

Asgore: I'm afraid not.

Sans: . . .

Asgore: Can you follow me for a minute?

Sans follows Asgore to the barrier.

Asgore: This is the barrier. It keeps us underground for years and onwards.

Asgore: And these are the six souls we've collected so far.

Asgore: If I could get one more soul, the barrier will be broken and monsters can finally be free.

Asgore: However, I wish that it would be easy to defeat the humans. But I don't think that would be the case, Sans.

Sans: but, the souls--

Asgore: It's true, I could be a god with seven souls. But a god nonetheless.

Asgore: There and hundreds of us and millions of them.

Asgore: Even with seven souls, it would still be difficult to defeat them all.

Sans: you're not planning on what i'm thinking, right?

Asgore: It appears that we were thinking about the same thing.

Sans: i- i understand, your majesty.

Sans walks away and glances at one of the souls while Asgore gazes at the barrier.
