Ara searched his eyes for any sign of hesitation but found non.

"You made your mind then. I believe you'll keep our talk confidential". Ara coldly spat with that she left.

"You will one day understand my decision." Cygnus black was feeling the heavy weight on his shoulders.
But he can't do that now everything could go wrong. Especially that he know his sister is lurking around trying to eavesdrop on the conversation.

"That pathetic excuse of a snake..." Ara was on the verge of crying she wanted out. She searched for flaemont.
"Am returning for the night".

"I get it things didn't go as planned, snakes" flaemont grunted .

"I don't want to talk about it. Please just make sure you bring barty back".
And like that Ara strode to leave.

She reached the drawing room. She saw the board back of a man looking up she stared at his grayish-blue eyes.
And jet black hair. Stepping back
"Sorry, I didn't know someone was here." Ara rushed out with red face .

" It's okk we were just leaving. "The other man didn't even look at her as she floo-ed away.

Moments before..in the drawing room.

"Long time no see cousin" Orion greeted the blue eyed man as he leaned on the wall. Deciding not to answer his provocation he tried to step out.

"I am hurt Alphard . After all this time hatred and rage still apparent in your eyes. It's been years. Should not you stop the childish feud with your family . She's not coming back. You know sometimes I think you had feelings for my deceased wife."

Alphard was beyond agitated threateningly he stepped closer to Orion."if I remember correctly you didn't care about her. you slept around cheating on her so just because you are a disgusting filth don't expect everyone to be. She is my best friend and I will not hesitate to break your neck the next time you disrespect her. And if I remember you didn't hesitate to marry walburga weak after what happened. Had I known how incompetent you are to keep her safe. I would have took her and ran away ".
Orion was livid"we had no obligations".

"Keep fooling your self and I hope one day you regret the way you treated her" looking away from his cousin. The one he swore to kill on Ara's wedding day.

Memories

Alphard slammed the door open as he marched to the groom .
Yanking him by his collar . "Am going to kill you" as he landed a couple of punches on his face."why do you always hurt people around you?"
Arcturus and Pollux Black where desperately trying to get him off .
Pollux shook his son by his shoulders "what's wrong with you?" Viciously he spat " if that  git dare to hurt a single hair on her head. I'll kill him ". Fixing his clothes and checking his hair. He stepped out his father hot on his heals. "If you where that vicious from the beginning you could have been the hier then you would have had a say in that ." Spinning to face him"hier or not I mean it when I said I. Will.kill him"

Alphard winsed at the memory and he didn't even realize that someone was in the room with them .

Flaemont didn't even need to search for the kids as they ran to him and bombarded him with questions.
"One at a time please" he said

"We can't find mom. I told you to keep an eye on her" barty worriedly said

"Dad we can't find her anywhere" James emphasized.

"You won't find her because she is not here. She was tired so she returned first and told me to tell you barty so you don't worry. I guess I am late but I hope this can ease it now "

"Is she ok?" Barty muttered. Patting  on his shoulder he nodded"she is strong. Long nights are tiring for older people"

Sirius black didn't want to believe that barty crouch Jr has changed but now he is thinking it through. While wondering what it's like to have someone who cares about you and love you.

In a far corner alphard was ambushed by a furious, teary eyed euphemia " how dare you disappear like that. Isn't it enough I lost her and lost you next . No word about your whereabouts."

"Sorry mia but I am still mourning my loss. But I am back for sometime I'll make sure to drop by."

"Of course you will or I'll personally drag you "

"Don't make promises you can't keep alphard " a voice called.

"You don't decided what I can or can not do. Walburga."

"We'll see about it " she turned her nose high with her permanent sneer and left.

"Be careful Al " mia warned worried for her friend.

"They can try mia... I promise they are going to regret."

Ara was ready to call it a night. Put fate had other plans when she received a letter from Dumbledore asking her to drop by before the students return to the school.

That night both James and barty sneaked to her room and slept comfortably by her side as if her warmth tells them that everything will be fine.
