Things at Hogwarts were different.
Gossip was heard all over the castle.
Here and there you'll hear students talking about James and barty new friendship. But not only that , no but also about the pink professor. The one that the ministry sent over to supervise Dumbledore or as Ara like to say "babysit" him.

It's been few week since they returned.
And DADA have been hell for the marauders and the Slytherin Skittles .
James was picking on his food " Rori said it will be bad but Merlin this is hell" he whined slumping in his seat
His friends looked at him as if he grew a second head " who?" Peter asked with a full mouth."my au... Barty's mom" he answered"it's been a week and it's already killing me " . "She did say something about it" Remus said before realizing what he said."you know her too"Sirius was now pissed.
Who's that woman why is everyone obsessed with her, "yeah I visit her often." Remus shrugged. "I need to meet that woman" Sirius screamed.
"Let's go we have DADA mates" Remus informed as he walked out the hall with Peter right behind him.

The class with the Slytherins was bad but adding the pink professor to the mix was horrible. "Mr. Lupin what do you think about werewolves?" The question sent him into spiral . His heart was thumping in his ears. She knows? No Dumbledore would not do it. "May I answer professor?"a Slytherin smugly asked . "Go ahead "
"They are beasts with no minds that live as parasites In our society. "She nodded in agreement.feeling rage in his veins James  jumped"they are beasts for once a month at night. The rest of the time they are normal human with minds and souls. " the professor's face twisted as she spat " these creatures are so far from normal
Human and Mr Potter you will not talk
Unless you got permission ".  "But he said what he saw right." Sirius defended. "One more word and you'll get detention both of you " she tapped her wand on the table. Both wanted to snap at her but moony's hand on their knees prevented them.

"You can't provoke her like that" an angry Lily lectured the two marauders "but my Lily flower she was talking shit about werewolves" James looked at her with pleading eyes.
"Yes lil she provoked us first" Sirius backed his best friend.
"You guys remember what lady pervell said" Remus reminded.
Whining they slumped against the coach of the Gryffindor common room
Suddenly James jumped and walked to the door. "Where are you going?" Sirius shouted after him."I'll pay barty a visit. It's been long since we hung out." Just like that the fat lady portrait closed ."he's hanging out with him awfully a lot.. don't you think. What's so good about him " Sirius rushed jealous of James and barty friendship.
"He's fun to be around and a good conversationalist" Remus replied not raising his head from the book that 'barty' gave him. "Not you too Mooney" .

Never have James thought he would be welcomed in the Ravenclaw tower
But since his friendship with barty he became one of them. " hi.. Pandora"
James greeted the girl "James.. searching for barty?" As she brought him to a hug both admit that the other is a good hugger. "Yeah, you know where he is?" James asked looking around for his cousin tucking his hands in his pockets . "Oh ... Didn't he tell you?" She bit her lip . She should tell him at least he'll know what to do.
"Tell me what Dora?" Worry shook him . Merlin he hope he's ok.
"He have been serving detention since his first DADA class with the pink professor".

"Thanks for telling me" and like that he dashed to the pink pig office. As he reached there he saw a few people he recognized as Regulus and Evan with Snape and Dorcas meadows.
"Hi there. Is barty in there?" James rushed."he told you?" Dorcas asked"you mean who told you?" Regulus sassed. "What makes you think that someone told me and not him?" James confused looked around. "He personally made us swear not to tell you" Snape sneered.just as barty stepped out clutching his hand but as soon as he saw his cousin he hid it faking a smile."James how have you been?" James saw through his facade
"Show me"  nervously barty stuttered
"W.. what"
"Barty show me your hand" James sternly ordered extending a hand .
Sighing barty rushed "you can't tell mom ." When James saw his hand he was furious on his hand a bleeding wound that said  I will respect the higher standing people. I will not tell lies
"What the hell? You have to tell Rori she'll teach this pink pig a lesson" James roared. The Slytherins around him looked stunned by his protectiveness over barty.
"No we can't. I don't want to cause her another problem with the ministry." Barty begged .
" you have to tell her . She'll be upset if she found out from someone else." James adviced keeping barty tucked by his side.
"I can write to her as your friend you know... your hand and all.." Regulus suggested.
"But ... Ah Okk "answered barty barely audible .

"Okk then,.. it's settled. let's get you all fixed up." James dragged him through the corridors.

The sene was odd. The marauders, Slytherin Skittles and the girls where in the room of requirements as lily , Remus and Evan worked on healing his hand while he lay down with his head on James lap. If you look around you'll see Regulus and Rabastan with Mary and marline writing the letter making sure it doesn't give her a heart attack.

"She'll hate me" his nerves where killing him. She told him to not do one thing and he go straight to it. "you know she won't"Remus assured patting his head. A lot of weird looks were shoot at the pair ."I'll not ask now... But you owe me an explanation" Evan eyes where looking straight at the two boys souls. "I think... this may work" lily suggested showing Evan rosier,one of the muggle borns haters, the book she was searching in . As they finally healed the wound leaving a scar ."we did it " The muggle born and the blood supremercist high fived in celebration.
"We are done too , want to read it barty?" Regulus asked him."yes...no just send it... Why am I so useless?"he said the last part looking at James.
Who slapped his forehead then sassed "you are not useless... You just forget you're a Ravenclaw sometimes. And aunty loves you too much to be mad at you."
"Well am I a weirdo or are you also looking forward to the drama ?" Sirius joked.
"You are a weirdo no questions asked. And we all love some drama " dorcas winked at him.

"Well we can all just pray that goddess of magic help the poor soul that will take auntie's rage" James dramatically said resembling a priest.
